L4D2? That's fast. And that Alan Walker game seems pretty sweet too.
I hope Nintendo's conference will be atleast half as generous with trailers as Microsoft's was.

Uh, that's what I said. The key word here is "respectively". Another example sentence would be "Halo 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 are on the Xbox 360 and PS3, respectively". Get what i'm saying?

After watching Microsoft's Press Conference, I was inspired to write another news satire. Just wanted to warn you. This Just In: Microsoft Unveils Project Natal
June 1 , 2009 - Microsoft left press conference attendees abuzz when they showcased their new revolutionary motion-sensing device, dubbed Project Natal, for the Xbox 360. Natal is a full-body motion capture camera that can sense movements, identify objects (including faces), and even recognize voices.
The device was the brainchild of Microsoft's Kudo Tsunoda, who showcased the Natal at the press conference.
"The idea came to me about three-and-a-half years ago when Nintendo revealed the Wii Remote at the Tokyo Game Show in 2005," says Tsunoda, "At first, I wasn't sure what to make of it, but when the Wii was released, it became a phenomenon. I mean it was flying off store shelves! Even my grandma was playing it! And when it became the fastest selling console of all time, I thought to myself, 'Hey, they might be on to something.'"
Don Mattrick, Senior Vice-President for Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business, called the Natal "revolutionary."
"Project Natal continues Microsoft's long-standing traditions of innovation, creativity, and pretending we pioneered already proven technologies," Mattrick said at the post-conference luncheon, "The Wii started a revolution, and that's when we realized it was time for us to step up and really get it started."
The announcement was accompanied by a demo of a virtual personality called "Milo," created by famed game designer Peter Molyneux. Through the use of the Natal, it was possible to interact with Milo as if he were a real person.
"I think it's the shit," said one random Xbox fanboy who attended to conference, "I spend so much time playing my Xbox 360 that I don't have any friends in real life. I mean, I get along fine with my friends on Xbox Live, but for some reason, people in the real world are offended by my use of homosexual references. But now, that won't be a problem, because with Milo, I can simulate what it's like to have a real friend. I can't wait to tell him he's a total homo!"
Nintendo's fans, however, view the Natal a little differently. Chris Devon, Nintendo fanboy and avid blogger, simply shrugged off the news.
"That's Microsoft for you," he said while typing a new blog entry, "I'm sure the Xbox fanboys will be slobbering all over it. Well, I hate to break it to them, but I've seen all this before. Just wait a couple of years until they're neck-deep in motion-sensing shovelware. They'll be itching to get their hands around a 500-button controller to play some real games. I know I am"
When asked for comment about the Natal, a Sony spokesperson simply said, "You mean the EyeToy? We made that seven years ago."

I must say that what they promised with the Natal sounds really promising and I dare say revolutionary, now lets wait an see how it gets applied to games (that Milo thing its just creepy, I just see one market that could be interested on interacting with a young boy had they changed it to a girl they would have their first system seller in japan ;D)

Members of the press have spotted Sin & Punishment and Endless Ocean 2 kiosks in Nintendo's booth. EO2 shows that games not seen in the American October conference still have a chance of coming.
Reports are also saying that Nintendo removed Red Steel 2 from their conference to show their own WM+ sword game. I'm betting on Dynamic Slash from the October conference.

Kotaku has found something interesting as well. Kotaku says that it looks like a flower and coin boxes from a Mario game. A japanese source was saying that Nintendo was going to show Wii Fit Plus and a new Mario game. New Super Mario Bros sequal anyone? The original did sell like about . . . 5 million or so. EDIT: Sin & Punishment 2 confirmed! And the NeoGAF forum can provide the rest . . . Super Mario Bros Wii anyone?

Hm...well, looks my previous prediction of our new Mario game being Mario Golf may be proved wrong...
I heard UBI's conference was worse than Nintendo's last year...so Nintendo would have to do a lot to top that this year. I'm hopeful it doesn't happen...

So it's on at 4 (GMT) today? It's usually on at 5, just as I'm leaving work
In that case, I expect my productivity to take a nosedive in, oooh, about 20 minutes time.Nah, it's on at 5... bah! I'll just have to catch the highlights when I get home again as usual. E3 used to feel like Christmas in years gone by...
