That's because Cammie Dunaway doesn't speak to any demographic. She's patronising and uses heavy marketing jargon to cover up her complete lack of knowledge or interest in the gaming market and its products.
And she doesn't iron her jacket. And misuses the word "literally".
Highlights were New SMB Wii, Golden Sun DS, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M. The first wasn't really a massive surprise after the leaked photos of the stands, but each of the others were exciting to near-heart-attack levels.
Who said Nintendo didn't do gamer-games any more, eh?

Well, now that Microsoft is getting into Motion Sensing technology and doing it fucking right, Nintendo had better get its shit together and aim for the core gamer almost exclusively. The 360 will not only have motion sensor titles that appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers and capitalize on the potential for each, but it's also a multimedia center that can play movies and TV shows, download said movies and TV shows, can connect to the internet efficiently, has more online capacity, so on, so forth. The Wii is just too limited in scope and Nintendo's in serious shit now XD

I'm noticing a growing trend for games to give you a score based on real-life skills, rather than the skills specifically required for the game. This is something I've wanted to see for some time.
I'm not saying the vitality sensor is a good idea, but it's a step towards a world in which gamers can use their honed skills to interact with ordinary folk.
Imagine a small game device that monitors your food intake that day. Rather than give you a read-out and recommendations for improving your diet, it starts playing "danger" music and shouts "DANGER! FOOD OVERLOAD!"
Or driving along in your car, while the windscreen superimposes arbitrary scores to every manoeuvre and tallies them in the top-right. "Turning Circle Bonus 10,000 pts!" "Kerbed It! -8,000 pts!" etc.
Chatting up women in a bar? Why not hit Start and check your statistics. Uh-oh, The Sweaty stat is pretty high!
Next time on Gamers' World: Combining Parkour and Super Mario Bros. and do some real damage.

Well, E3's coming up soon, so now seems as good a time as any to bump this back up. I believe E3's starting on the 14th, with Nintendo's conference taking place on the 15th at 9:00 A.M. Pacific. Nintendo also seems to be airing a live feed of the event on their website, which I believe is a first. Also, from what I've heard, their conference is supposed to be about two hours long, as apposed to the 70-ish minutes we got last year. Seems like a decent sign. So yeah. Just a heads up. Let the bitching predicting commence.

Bitch #1: We'll start a new thread for E3 2010.
Bitch #2: 2 hours doesn't sound like a good idea. They had either better outperform last year's stellar software showing (which seems unlikely) or unveil a new home console and 3DS.
Instead, I reckon we'll just get Cammie Fakesmileway demoing some games nobody gives a crap about (Wii Vitality Sensor anyone?), plus a loooot of spreadsheets saying how much money Nintendo makes. Oh, and Reggierock will appear and give people their names back. He really shouldn't have taken them in the first place. Silly Reginald!

I'm going into this E3 with very little expectations. Worked out last year, oddly enough.

I'm going into this E3 with very little expectations. Worked out last year, oddly enough. Same here. 3DS, Vitality Sensor, Zelda Wii definitely shown. And then new games released for Q3-Q4 2010 and next year Q1-Q2. I have to admit, I'm a bit worried about this period of time from now to the 3DS's release, there could possibly be DS game that might not get released out of a Japan because the western DS market has moved on. (Think of the sitution when the GBA ended and the DS took over and how Rythem Tongoku and possibly Mother 3, weren't released outside of Japan due to it being too late for GBA end in the west. It's Cammie wants to redeem herself, she should just come out dressed as Zelda and then announce Zelda Wii and cue awesome trailer and then leave. (How else could she redeem herself in the eyes of gamers?)

Dressed as Zelda? Silly Robot, Cammie's too old for Zelda cosplay.

I don't think any games will get left behind because of the 3DS looming. The GBA sorta floundered in its twilight- the DS is still going strong. There's no reason to leave games behind for that reason.

Cammie usually cosplays as Sarah Palin I would like to see them beat Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Sin & Punishment 2, Golden Sun DS and a new Zelda as far as game announcements go... but I reckon we'll just see more footage of the ones that haven't been released. Come ooooon Wii HD!

Well, last year's E3 was pretty good, but it'll be hard to top. Nintendo is just as derpy now as they were this time last year.
