Yay, I know. But Yoshi's Universal Gravitation (Topsy-Turvy) seemed to use a different sensor, otherwise it wouldn't be released in Europe. Tilt Sensor in Yoshi's Universal Gravitation; Gyro Sensor in WarioWare: Twistwed! ...Does that mean Wii Motion Plus will have to be modified in Europe or is disallowed to be sold at all? |

The DS rumble pak was delayed here for a veeeerrry long time, so I presume it had similar components. Fingers crossed, Wii Motion Plus has been developed with this in mind (especially seeing as we have a set release date for Wii Sports Resort now).

It's a shame that the international websites work together so smoothly these days. I remember just a few years ago, the Japanese Nintendo website would upload all of its E3 material during Nintendo's conference, meaning for a very short time, while everybody's eyes were on the US, I was rummaging around in Japan for trailers and screenshots before the servers went down.
That's how I saw the first trailer for Twilight Princess... before everybody else. Bwahaha.
I expect I will watch the highlights of the conference (annoyingly, I'm not usually home from work in time to watch it live).

Remember to compensate by how many +/- hours for whatever timezone of the world you live in. (E3 is in LA). For me I'm watching Nintendo's conference at 4:00 in the morning on June 3rd. (Like last year). Also here's a link to IGN's 2009 livestream page. Remember you may need to install software to get it to work if you haven't used it before, so do it now when you have the chance and not when the conference starts! |

Alright, for those curious, here's a re-cap of Microsoft's E3 conference: Modern Warfare 2 (Eh...) The Beatles: Rock Band (Sweet) Forza Motorsport 3 (Meh) New Splinter Cell (Cool) Halo ODST (Eh...) Halo Reach (Eh?) Natal ( I didn't see it, but it sounds like some sort of Wii-killing motion device) MGS Rising (woot) Crackdown 2 (Meh) Alan Wake (Missed this. No idea what it is) Games I heard about but can't confirm: Fable 3 Pretty damn solid, especially if that last one is real. And the Nintendo conference is indeed tomorrow. |

Being open to playing any game whenever is one thing, being an every-friggen-game-ever-made fanboy is another.
While I do have some non-Nintendo favorites, it's just that a great deal of what comes from other companies does come off as rather generic/cliche.
