Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are perfect. Just keep them in. Throw in Metal Sonic and Dr. Robotnik, it's perfect even more, somehow. Hell, I love Vector the Crocodile, but I don't want to see him all the time. Same with Rouge. I like them and want to be able to say "When will we see them again?"
I don't WANT Sonic to swing around a broadsword but have to pick up a tiny box with two hands. I don't WANT a talking sword. NOBODY DOES. It's enough to have a talking umbrella, a talking water pump...

Nextly Secret Rings got decent reviews and sold well. I don't think it sucked. Certainly not that good of a Sonic game but not even close to the level of Sonic 06. Funny thing is, the only Sonic games that DIDN'T get decent reviews were Shadow and Sonic '06. And Sonic '06 is the only one to sell less than a million copies (though it still came close). So really, the series can't be that bad.

Far-out.....another Sonic game?! This looks good but I think Sonic games are getting not so origanal.......example:
Sonic Unleased-Werewolf------Twlight Princess-WereWolf
This game-Black Knight------Fire Emblem-Black Knight
Is this copying......or not?

Yeah. Yeah, Zelda invented werewolves, and Fire Emblem invented the idea of a Black Knight.
They aren't ancient legends from folklore, or anything. Nintendo should sue Sega.
And also, medieval England.

Black Knights are traditionally associated with Medieval England, which S&TBK seems to be set in.
On the other hand, I can't see Sonic Unleashed footage without thinking of TP. I don't know if that's what inspired it, but that's what it look like. Thankfully, it doesn't look like a rip off otherwise.

Oh, was that not already in this thread? I've had that picture almost as long as I've had the one in the first post. My bad.

I believe that pic belongs in the Soul Calibur thread. Hmm? Oh, that actually is for Sonic? But it looks like... I mean, I thought.... Oh, never mind. Carry on!

The Sonic Team are trying to make Sonic and his franchise fifty times kewler than Criss Angel playing an electric guitar better than the DragonForce guitarists while skateboarding better than Tony Hawk and making Criss Angel's music loud enough to make Chuck Norris, Oscar Wilde and Mr. T pass out immediately and explode like the monsters in tokusetsu television shows.
Shigeru Miyamoto and his team aren't changing Mario as much.
