Right, onto some others:
Giant Goomba A colossal Goomba appears as the boss of world four in New Super Mario Bros., but that's a Mega Goomba, not a Giant Goomba.
Though not an error per se, this just had me in a state of WTF for some reason.
Chain Chomp In Super Mario 64, a Chain Chomp appears in the first level. If cannot be defeated, but you can daze it temporarily by throwing bombs at it.
Is this true? I've never thought about trying this...(Then again, who really has?)
Edit: I just thought of something, are the Pokemon ever even seen accomplishing any of these feats that the Pokedex says they can do? Or is the ol' 'Dex just exaggerating?

I've always known about that Bob-omb thing.

That's one of the tips magazines used to give when publishing walkthroughs for Super Mario 64 (probably because it was the first time you were given such freedom to explore a 3-D world).
As for the Pokémon, some trophies in Melee included facts that seemed not to be previously documented (actually that's the style in several Melee trophy entries), but they're more truthful in Brawl, including those facts about Snorunt that do appear in the Pokémon games.

Yeah, you can through Bob-Ombs at the Chain Chomp. He'll just stretch out and bark.

Here's the trick in question:
This is more of a nitpick from me, but the Ouendan trophy states the appearances as Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 2 when there is no exclamation mark after Ouendan. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 is also a subtitle, with the main title being Moero! Nekketsu Rhyhtm Damashii, but that's just plain me being SRIUS BSSINESS.
An actual goof-up I've noticed is the "Prince Sabure" sticker, and a couple other direct katakana romanizations. What the hell, NoA?

Oh yeah, one more about romanizations: the Sound Test cites the sources for the Japanese WarioWare songs as Mawaru Meido in Wario and Sawaru Meido in Wario when the games have correctly spelled it as Made in Wario since forever. And this is a major one: (This can also apply to NinDB: the NPC page currently says that the fairies have been renamed from the original.)

Aha, excellent! Thanks for catching that one for us ;D That sound test bit does annoy me. They could have made some effort to translate the English words
