Oh God how I hated that show.

I figured you would, Fry.

I figured you would, Fry. Why the eye-rolling and the vague jab like that? Is that really necessary? Turning much loved videogame characters into singing and dancing bad CG characters (this was bad even when this was released)... it's just badly made! I mean, when this came out, I was roughly the right age for this show as well. But it was horrible. And I was surprised when Rare acknowledged its existence with the Crystal Coconuts in DK64.

Well... now that you mention singing and dancing and the cruddy CGI, you do have a point.
I'd wager the show would've been ten times better had it been made in Japan, the US or the UK as opposed to France.
...but the crappy CGI is pretty good for a laugh if you freeze the screen and look at the trippy facial expressions. ;D

I have yet to see another kids show that involves GCI style video game characters doing hideously animated dances and singing poorly written/cheesy songs. This here is a one-of-a-kind deal.

Probably the best example of a video game made TV show is Pokemon. A true success story there, which is extremely rare for video games.

Probably the best example of a video game made TV show is Pokemon. A true success story there, which is extremely rare for video games. Yeah, it was so popular, people seemed to think the games were based on it! Now, the show's just...there. No one seems to acknowledge it anymore. It's sad really. By the way, did anyone ever watch the pac-Man cartoon? Wasn't that Hanna-Barbara? Now that show sucked!

Well, it's an anime, after all. Kind of a shonen one, at that. So the occasional sleazy cliche is to be expected.

The whole show is a cliche! But I still watch it... I got a problem.

Anyways, I don't think more of Nintendo's series should be made into movies (some of them should, yes), but rather start off as TV series first.
Here are some ideas I've had for their other series:
CGI Mario animated series We may have had the Super Show a long time ago, but this is based on the way the Mario series is now, like what Sonic X has pulled off.
EXCUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME PRINCESS Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time I've thought of this one being a full-length feature anime movie, which may work well, methinks.
EXCUUUU-.......Zelda Wind Waker I've seen this fan animation where Aryll plays with a Wii Remote to move Link around, and this would be great animated!
Metroid (anime) Action-packed, but may sometimes get all moe-ish on Samus.
StarFox (CGI) Eh, this seems just right for it.
Pikmin (CGI movie) May give a feeling of isolation at times, but when the Pikmin are around, a very heavy emphasis is put into the song Ai no Uta.
Kirby (based more on the games, this time) Why not.
WarioWare, Inc. Very yes. And a spin-off show starring Mona to boot.

Samus isn't moe at all... She's that obvious straight up sexy gal. Moe is more of the innocent girl that sometimes winds up in sexual positions by accident.

By the way, did anyone ever watch the pac-Man cartoon? Wasn't that Hanna-Barbara? Now that show sucked! Haha, yes I did. That was back in the days when the Super Mario Bros. Super Show was brand new. I just remember watching it and couldn't believe my ears!! Everyone had nicknamed the main character "Paccy". Seeing as "Paki" is a racist slur against Pakistanis (at least in the UK circa late 80's) it came as a bit of a shock.

Oh yes, I've seen that show a few times before, but never noticed that "Paccy" nickname. Seriously? Yikes.

If another Mario show is made, it needs to be like the intro movies from the more recent Mario sports games. Mario Power Tennis in particular. Hell, the Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour intro was more entertaining than the game itself!
