It's not quite an obsession. They don't know how to hack some characters. Rather than try and figure it out, they're waiting for Syntax Error to release their guide next month.
Ness and Lucas are way worse than Luigi, too.

Are you one of the many who wanted an Animal Crosser as a character? Well, fret no more! Stack Smash heard your pleas!  Based on The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing, this is one of the better- and most wanted- textures to come out of Syntax Error or Stack Smash. =============================================================  This is Kitty Corps. Cosmic Mario. They're another hacking team, although they only have a handful of textures shown. This is by far their best, and one of the best I've seen as well.  They've also done Fighter Kirby from Snake Kirby! This is shown on their Amerikirby, based on American box art. I'm surprised no one else thought of this.... Then again, we haven't seen SE's Snake Kirby hack yet. |

That newer Megaman is awesome, but it needs the transparent texture on the bill of the cap. I wonder when they'll get to a point where they can start "blending" clothing too

Why you shouldn't always give the fans what they want: King K. Oopa:  It's supposed to be a King K. Rool... but it doesn't look anything like him.  Not a bad hack, but... Honestly, I thought it was Super Mario Super Show King Koopa at first. |
