We need a home console 2D Kirby game with Wario Land style visuals. And for that matter, a home console 2D Mario game with Wario Land style visuals. And a home console 2D Yoshi game with Wario Land style polish to the visuals (but in a more crayon like style). And a home console 2D Metroid game with Wario Land style polish to the visuals (but grittier). And....... Ok, I'm back. But I would like to see more big 2D platformers on home consoles too. Including Kirby. Actually I don't car if its DS or Wii but we need Canvas Curse 2. Get on it Nintendo. We should do what ever this man says. Oh, and send him muffin baskets.

... would like for Kirby to stay 2D on handhelds... OBJECTION!I still want to see a home console Kirby so badly.... Not saying I don't want a console Kirby, just that I don't want a 3D game on a hand held. I don't mind a 3D Kirby on a console. I'd like another 2 1/2 D like Kirby 64.,

I am liking the trend towards 2D platformers again... but are the days of the 3D platformer dying out so soon? Where's all the Galaxy clones, dammit! ;D

I still want to see a home console Kirby so badly.... Talking about console versions of Kirby, has Kirby GC (which as I understand it, was going to be ported onto the Wii) been officially canned or what? I am liking the trend towards 2D platformers again... but are the days of the 3D platformer dying out so soon? Where's all the Galaxy clones, dammit! ;D I hope not, I want to be able to play Donkey Kong World (which was annouced at the Wii's launch, and hasn't been mentioned since). And the fact that the last 2D platformer that I played (Super Paper Mario), was of average quality at best (it certainly was not as good as the other two Paper Mario titles).

I think it was officially cancelled a while back, although whether it's still secretly in production I'm not sure. Sucks though - I was looking forward to stacking Kirby on top of three assistants I hope not, I want to be able to play Donkey Kong World (which was annouced at the Wii's launch, and hasn't been mentioned since). And the fact that the last 2D platformer that I played (Super Paper Mario), was of average quality at best (it certainly was not as good as the other two Paper Mario titles). "A Donkey Kong title" was announced at the Wii launch, and I highly suspect this was the Wii version of Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast. As far as I'm aware, Donkey Kong World does not, and has never, existed.

Apparently the "sequel" to Spring Breeze includes Kaboomba and some other bosses? And Meta Knight Ultra has a really "surprising" final boss? I found out, I think, who/what it was, but if anybody knows for sure please post in spoiler tags. MKU basically expands Meta Knight's character by several points, AND includes his Brawl moves as part of his skills. So I really want to hear how that goes. Thanks.

Here is everything on Meta-Knight Ultra It's pretty much how Meta-Knight's mode was in Nightmare in Dreamland. You play as Meta-Knight though the 5 main games. And yes, Meta-Knight destroys his own ship. How it works is that you get points by killing enemies which can be used to summon helpers or to do "Mach Tornado" to kill all the enemies on screen as well as other abilities.
At the end, instead of fighting Marx, you wish to fight the greatest Warrior in the galaxy to become a better warrior. He's a lot like Meta-Knight (he looks like a crazy version of him) with crazy attacks. Then you win. All the scenes are Meta-Knight in Kirby's sceenes, but less silly.

Spoilers, eh.... I'm tempted to read 'em, ah..... should I resist? I still want to see a home console Kirby so badly.... Ack, I dunno. The last time you see the name is on the Mar 2008 fiscal report of Nintendo. The lame excuses of Brawl and Ultra are gone, so I hope the HAL people can start resuming working on it! - Ah, 3D games... I do want to see 'em. Don't tell me Galaxy came out for its own good without nothing following it. According to Galaxy's gravity programmer however, making a game like that and having it run smoothly at 60 fps is hard. ( Iwata Asks: Super Mario Galaxy) Edit: Ah, I've noticed that Lololo and Lalala didn't have their ridiculous 4Kids names. Now I've another question... does it have the Touch Generations logo? It seems that it does, and, I won't be buying it and will wait for the Japanese version instead if this is the case.

Spoilers, eh.... I'm tempted to read 'em, ah..... should I resist? I will tell you that none of the spoilers are "OMG". They are kind of standard. I'd still avoid the boss stuff since see them was pretty cool No, it doesn't, but why would that determine a purchase? [/quote]

This forum is definitely located at the junction between weird and obsessive-compulsive. Why would that affect a purchase in any way?

Some differences in the orignal and now, curtosy of Disaster on the Rainbow Resort board:
Spring Breeze: *Game play is slower, similar to the original KDL. *The Kirbies in teh ending are changed to Waddle Dees.
Dynablade *Levels have their Japanese names. Also, Dyna has her KAR music,
Gourmet Race *New, more expressive sprites.
Great Cave Offensive *The areas now have names. *New treasures. *Wham Bam Rock now has Dynablade's music.
Revenge of Meta Knight *Halberd is Brawl version. *Heavy Lobster is black in it's final form. *Combo Cannon renamed Main Cannon #2. *Captain now named Vul. (But I'll still think of him as Captain Eagle as I have since I was 5...) *Major script revisons. For example, when the crew comes up with the idea of a last ditch assault on Kirby, he says they are "Throwing their lives away", as opposed to agreeing.
Milky Way Wishes *Touch screen used for abilities. *Renamed levels, with full Japanese titles. (Grass Planet Flora, for example) *Star Chariot is now Starship, NOVA is Galactic Nova and Nova's Heard is Galactic Nova's Nucleus.
Arena *A smaller tomato appears when you use a Maxim Tomato.
Revenge of the King *It's a "Harder, more purple Spring Breeze." *Mini bosses replaced with Nightmare in Dreamland bosses. (Phan Phan, Tick Tock, Fire Lion... No Spinning Turtle, though...) *Whispy Woods has poison apples that hurt Kirby when inhaled. And he shots tornadoes! (Stage: Purple Plants) *Lolo and Lala have a different room, and you can't stand on the platforms you can jump through anymore. (Stage: Illusion Islands.) *- Kracko actually looks like a thundercloud now, and can fire thick bolts of lightning in an X-shaped pattern. (Stage: Crash Clouds) * You fight Kaboola (Renamed Kabula ) is fought with the Star Chariot. (Stage: Mt. Dedede's Sky) *Dedede has a level, made up of NiD bosses. (Stage: The Revenge) *Dedede is fought in a electric steel cage match, and he has a steel hammer and mask. Seriously.
Meta Knight Ultra *Mash up of five levels consisting of different sub games. *Meta Knight can exchange points for powers, IE Mach Tornado, which destroys all enemies on screen. He can summon Blade Knight and Sword Knight as helpers. *Galactia Knight is the final boss. It's looks like Meta Knight.
True Arena & Helper to Hero *The former is a Arena where you fight all bosses in the game, the latter you play as helpers.
