Wow. That's the first time I see the Minus World from SMB2J! What happens when you touch the priness in World -1?
Never heard of the Donkey Kong trick either. What happens when you jump off cliff?

That Donkey Kong one is new to me, pretty neat glitch. It's only possible in the NES version, right?

I take it that the minus world glitch isn't possible in SMAS, right? Because if it is, I'm definitely gonna try to do it.
As for that DK one, that one is just soo weird.

As far as I can tell, the Donkey Kong glitch can be done in every version of the game. I have checked Donkey Kong Classics, Classic NES Series and Virtual Console, and it's possible in them all. The second minus world glitch isn't from SMB2j, but from the SMB disk system version (released as a launch title on the Disk System). I don't actually know if there's anywhere you can do this in SMB2j... And sadly no, the Minus World has been blocked forever in every version aside from the original NES releases and the Disk System version. While you can still jump backwards through most blocks, the ones above the pipes have been specially programmed to make this move impossible. I don't think it can even be done in the Virtual Console version Glad these went down well though. Some of these glitches I picked up from a Japanese website, as well as some little-known cheats.

Amazing, the disk system is Yep, you're sent back to the title screen after the empty Toad room. I agree about it not freezing - and this is probably what led to the popular rumour that it was an intentional change by the developers to reward those who could pull the glitch off in the cart version

Seems likely, as Minus world was actually a coding error. That, or they couldn't take away the glitch so they just added more levels, and made it beatable.
