I'm surprised we never saw Speed Racer or the Pizza Cats, but I am really impressed by the Capcom selection. Makes me whole to know what a third MvC would have looked like.

I'm surprised we never saw Speed Racer or the Pizza Cats My thoughts exactly. Those two were pretty much Tatsunoko's most notable properties. Shame on them to leave them out. Maybe for the next game... Will this game really make it outside of Japan? I highly doubt it, due to licensing all over. Not many people would recognize the name "Tatsunoko" easily either.

It's not expected to leave Japan's shores, although there have been rumors that Tatsunoko's half may be removed and replaced with some other license. I've read Marvel was a candidate, but it's purely speculation at this point. I'm fairly pleased with Capcom's side - they actually spread out their properties a bit more here, and it's not Street Fighter heavy as usual. There's characters I'd have loved to have seen make it, but the cast is solid enough, methinks.

Samurai Pizza cats were never popular in Japan, but Speed Racer now thats a curios omission.

Samurai Pizza Cats wouldn't be as popular here too if it weren't for the 'translators' flushing the original script down the toilet and writing whatever synchronized with the lip motion.
Also if they decided to make a third Marvel vs Capcom and release it internationally it'll make up for me missing out on this one. Bloody anti freeloader update.

Well, I don't really care for them having another Marvel vs. Capcom. They can only go so far with the Marvel characters they've used. (Though I've always wondered why they used War Machine and not Iron Man...hmm)
Hell, I'd play a game if it was just all Capcom characters.

As would I, Teev. They did use Iron Man in Marvel Super Heroes and MvC2, but for some crazy reason they went with War Machine in MvC, which is a bit baffling.

I've never liked Marvel anyway, so I hope they'll use something else if they do change it to bring it over here... And I hope they do, because my life is not Viewtiful enough these days.

Capcom vs Konami. I'd die happy.
An all-Capcom fighter would be awesome, but you just know more then half the roster would be made out of Street Fighter characters. I mean they're cool 'n all, but I wanna play as Arthur damnit.

They should compensate by making US only game with one of our own animation companies, like maybe Hanna-Barbera vs. Capcom? ;D Think about it: Take the 11 Tatsunoko characters and replace them with 11 of Hanna-Barbera's characters, some of which come from their superhero era: 1. Space Ghost 2. Birdman (with the Galaxy Trio as assists) 3. Zandor (with the rest of the Herculoids as assists) 4. Mighty Mightor 5. Atom Ant 6. Frankenstein Jr. (with the Impossibles as assists) 7. Captain Caveman 8. Secret Squirrel 9. Hong Kong Phooey 10. Shazzan (he'd be the "big" character) 11. Dick Dastardly (with Muttley as his assist) How's that?

No Blue Falcon and Dynomutt? For shame! ;D
I'd still love a Nintendo Vs. Capcom crossover, but I doubt it'll happen.

Uh..... scratch Dick Dastardly and Muttley. Blue Falcon and Dynomutt fill the last spot much better. How could I have forgotten them?

They shouldn't neglect all their good eggs too much in favor of Street Fighter (though I can't criticize Street Fighter for having a fair amount of its guys in these games, it started this whole kind of thing, after all). Ace Attorney plz. Hanna-Barbera VS Capcom? Well, those are good choices, but Zorak or Brak would have been good. I'm still not so sure about Nintendo vs Capcom myself. I just can't see Nintendo folk in this kind of fighter at all! They handled it well enough in Smash anyway. A few more steps further with this kind of process of Capcom's now and it'll be MUGEN all over again. Really. XP (Disney VS Capcom beckons...)

A Hanna-Barbara fighting game with no Johnny Quest or Fred Flinstone? tsk tsk.

He probably wanted more fighter-like characters. I mean if any Hanna Barbara characters were to go in, Scooby and Shaggy would have to be first in line.
