This picture below does confirm that only Wario, Mona, Jimmy T and Kat and Ana are on the menu screen. I have to say the designs of the latter 3 characters with their little hats and headsets look like they should be working at a fast food restaurant. I would say the reason why only 4 characters are used was maybe there is only a limited number of motions with the camera that can be picked up and thus a reduction in games. I hope the WW team learned from the repetitive single action of the character games from WW Touched (like Mona swiping, Jimmy rubbing, K&A scribbling) is not done and a variety of motions are used for each characters games. The reason I think it was done for DSi Ware is because a full retail WW game only using the camera would be too small/short (it only takes up 47 blocks) and because the game would only work on a DSi (and alienate* non-DSi owners). * I just can't stop saying alienate this week, now can't I?

Since all the other Japanese Made in Wario/WarioWare sites always introduced all characters but Wario's special incarnation, there are surely not more, except for something like Wario-Man or Tiny Wario, if anything. But it's a DSiWare game after all. Because Pyoro's name is just a small notice in the corner this time, while there was even a big Pyoro logo in the title screens of all other Pyoro games.

Mona must be a telemarketer or something. That's my guess.
Anyway, it's a downloadable game, so I didn't expect much.

Here's a review (sort of) for WW:P. A new WarioWare game! Albeit, a downloadable one with only a fraction of the usual amount of microgames ( I wasn’t counting, but there are around two dozen). Three details that are fab: 1. Goofy microgames, like playing peek-a-boo with a baby and waving at a schoolgirl. 2. After finishing a microgame set, you’ll see a slideshow of your captured movements paired with comic elements inserted by the game. The title screen will also now show clips of you acting like a damn fool, behind the logo. 3. There’s a little game that you can play in the credits, in which you tilt your head to pilot a space creature, collecting names while avoiding aliens. Three details that are butt: 1. You need VERY specific lighting conditions to get the microgames to work at all. I tried six different setups, and I’m still not sure why some might have worked better than others. I imagine many people are having trouble getting the microgames to load. 2. I was able to win some sort of comic that featured me as a main character! Unfortunately, I’m not sure what’s going in the comic because it’s in Japanese. 3. My cat scratched me when I tried to hold him up in front of the DSi’s camera, so he could play along in the multiplayer games.

Too bad we won't be seeing an ounce of character development in the WarioWare crew. I just know it.

Do they really need character development? They're just avatars/ You sound like a sad fanboy, Boo.

If they're just there as empty shells solely to satisfy your microgaming needs when they could be more interesting, shown more promise for a while and all, that's kind of a different story. Eh, we all have our own ways of fanboyism in us.
