You didn't need to drive anything home, and you made a completely different point from what I'd said. I said this thread was insane, not that all of BDi's discussions were ridiculous. If you want to flame him, do it on your own time and leave me out of it. Frankly, Man-Frog, I'm more sick of you than anything else about this forum. You're constantly acting like a jerk to people, and whenever you get called out for it, you act like you're completely innocent. FINE THEN. I'll just leave and never return. I'll even ask Fry to ban me if it makes you happy.

No, I'm not asking you to leave. Just to learn when not to post something.

I try as hard as possible not to come off as a jerk. I've made what I thought were perfectly reasonable posts and people still got offended. What gives? EDIT: By the way, I wasn't really planning on leaving or anything. I was just a bit struck by what you said about me.

Well someone had to say something...

Why didn't anybody speak up sooner? If I was really that bad I'd have preferred it if you let me know. I can't really tell exactly who's taking my karma away and who isn't, y'know.
EDIT: For the record, I guess my cruelty came as a result of having nothing to talk about, so all I did was add fuel to the fire in all those pointless arguments.
I did make a new thread in hopes of resolving things like that, but so far nobody's seen it. ...Nobody ever sees my threads.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time someone's brought it up, Man-Frog.

It hasn't, but the last time it has was a long while ago. I thought I was steadily improving since then.

Jeez. It's amazing, a guy just wants to make topic comparing Pikmin to Metroid Prime and then... This happens. Everyone needs to chill.

Metroid Prime 2 was made somewhat easier than 1 in PAL regions? Hum... No. Prime 1 was made harder. I believe PAL Prime's normal difficulty is the US's hard. Because we're more awesomesauce than you. I'm totally ignoring the OMG INTERNET SERIOUS DRAMA, by the way.

Jeez. It's amazing, a guy just wants to make topic comparing Pikmin to Metroid Prime and then... This happens. Everyone needs to chill. The problem is that there really are no comparisons between Metroid Prime and Pikmin that don't also apply to hundreds of other games. And it doesn't even lead to an interesting discussion - the whole topic kinda drops dead after the first post. Which is why we began to lament the days there were real topics to discuss in the world of Nintendo. A couple members poked fun at Boo Destroyer who took it entirely in his stride. The topic didn't go off the rails because of that. Man-Frog, I think the highly inflammatory way you spoke to Boo Destroyer was totally uncalled for, and your total over-reaction when people defended him was even worse. You don't think before you post - and worse, you post when you're angry. You HAVE been getting better over time, but not enough time has passed yet for me to decide whether you're simply posting less. You need to actually change that attitude of yours, because if it doesn't get you into trouble here, then it'll soon enough get you into trouble in your personal life.

Given that I managed to breeze through the game until the Omega Elite boss, I pretty much doubt it was made harder.

A lot of sequence breaking events are removed (therefore harder if you are speedrunning, probably no difference otherwise), some enemies need more damage to die (that would make it harder), and apparently there is a new third difficulty level.
Seems I was wrong about the US hard = our normal*, though.
*totally applies to size comparisons, too. IFYOUKNOWWHATIMSAYIN'
