Heh. I never got around to researching that last one. I'll give this one a proper shot tomorrow.

Gah! Low G Man! Of course! I was totally stumped on that one. Is this one Galaxy 5000? Absolutely... 100%... correct! Galaxy 5000 for the NES from Activision. Fryguy64 +1 ScoreboardWildcat - 6 8bitretroshit - 3 Parrothead - 2 Fryguy64 - 2 Man-Frog - 1 Johans Nidorino - 1 Clue: This is a run-n-gun released very late in the SNES's lifespan. It was worth a shot. He was the only long-haired run-n-gunner I could think of. If I get time, I'll try again.

Clue 2: The first level takes place in a forest. There are various bosses, including a face in a tree, a dragon, and a gargoyle.

You've got me on this one, man. Two days of fairly extensive research, and I'm no closer to figuring it out. Hopefully I'll be able to get the next one.

A bit too obscure, perhaps. Even I had a hard time finding info on the game, but everything I described was from Internet research, so I assume that means it's possible for other people to find it as well. Answer: Realm for the SNES from Titus. GAME OVER Insert Coin(s) to continue. 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... Get ready! Clue: This is an 8-bit side-scrolling game in which you play as a bee. You have to collect honey from flowers and fill up a jar to complete each level.
Guess the game!

Sounds a bit like Kid Icarus? It does have side scrolling and greek mythology.
But then again your probably trying to make us think that it's KI.
