And Luigi was just Mario with a green hat, what's your point?

Yeah, Waluigi is amazing. I've grown to love him more than Luigi. He just has so much awesome potential, it pisses me off that the rest of Nintendo hasn't realized this yet. Maybe it is because Nintendo merely combined Luigi and Wario to create Waluigi and called him an "original" character solely for the spin-off games. And that's why Waluigi is a tool. *nod* Seriously, the guy has no identity - he's just the illegitimate love child of Luigi and Wario with all of their addictive traits either entirely removed or blatantly copy-pasta'd, and Nintendo only made him so Wario would have a doubles partner in Mario Tennis. Granted, character development is like the last thing Nintendo ever has in mind when making said characters, but that doesn't stop them from (at least accidentally) giving those characters personality quirks. Seriously. You'd figure if Nintendo planned to do anything with Waluigi, he would have shown up outside the kartsportsparty spinoffs by now, right? He's pushing ten years old. I think even Nintendo realizes how much he sucks. That's why new characters were created for WarioWare, WarioWorld and Wario Land: Shake It, rather than bringing Waluigi into the fold.

Aaw, TEi... don't be a dick. I'm fairly indifferent to Waluigi, but he at least has more unique personality traits than Peach, Daisy, Toad and Yoshi. Combined.

Don't be knocking the Yo'ster or the Toad'ster. They're severely under-appreciated as it is.

Sometimes I wonder if Toadbert is the blue Toad in Sunshine, Galaxy, and even NSMBWii. The blue Toad wore no glasses in Sunshine... a few years later, we get Partners in Time where Toadbert is introduced... then a few years later, the same blue Toad from Sunshine is now wearing glasses in Galaxy.

Damn, I didn't notice that. Have they snuck in Toadbert in Galaxy? They were obviously aware of PiT, thanks to the Ice Flower.
Also, anybody else notice the Yellow Toad's Fire Flower has a Mega Mushroom cap? That's a cool detail.

Don't be knocking the Yo'ster or the Toad'ster. They're severely under-appreciated as it is. Toad and Yoshi are two of my favourite characters. But I'm well aware that they are both personality black holes. All their appeal is purely aesthetic, there's nothing beneath the surface.

X for Wario, Y for Waluigi.... hmm.
I dunno.... how to associate these two with the Alphadream-style jokes?
On the other hand, though, I think Toad's sacarstic personality would be some good material. Make him clash with Luigi or something. Alphadream, being a team of Luigi fans, like making fun of his personality anyway.
EDIT - on second thought, make Wario and Waluigi to mischievious things while unintentionally helping the bros. LOL I M SO ORIGINAL.

Mario - Jump, Hammer, Fire Luigi - Jump, Hammer, Thunder Wario - Stomp, Punch, Shoulder Waluigi - Whirl, Hammer, Ice
Stomp and Whirl are exactly like Jump, but they can bury enemies in battle rather than the double jump (Stomp by the pressure, Whirl by being a drill.) Punch and Hammer act in the same way as the Hammer, but Wario's Punch can't break rocks. Shoulder is Wario's classic Ram attack, from behind, it pushes Waluigi along like Fire, but it can break rocks (if Wario's up front.) Ice operates in front by freezing moving parts (for example, an automatic gate that closes too fast can be halted with Ice,) and from behind it's the same as Luigi's Thunder. Essentially, Wario and Waluigi use similar moves to their counterparts, but with differences.
Wario and Waluigi also are alot more active than Mario and Luigi when angry at the other or during cutscenes, so while Mario and Luigi are like Abbot and Costello, Wario and Waluigi are more like the Stooges.

Given their extreme differences in body types, Bros. Attacks by Waluigi and Wario would be hilarious to see, as would their overworld combo moves.

That all sounds great. Really!
On a side note, is it really fair to make fun of Yoshi for having zero personality? He's a glorified horse for Christ's sake!

Aaw, TEi... don't be a dick. I thrive off being a dick. ;D I'm not defending any of those four. XD I love Toad purely for nostalgia, but he's hardly got a robust personality. I'm not a big Yoshi fan, I loathe Daisy, and...I'm conflicted about Peach. On the one hand, I hate her as much as I hate Zelda because she's a ditz and prone to kidnapping, but on the other hand, unlike Zelda, Peach has actually taken to the front lines and has at least once proven smart enough to EVADE being kidnapped. But I still like Peach, Yoshi and Toad more than Waluigi.
