I will hug you Leon if that is true. Well, at least exalt you. I really want to play both.

I do know for a fact that NoA recently renewed trademarks for Monado and The Last Story in January. That's always a good sign.

It's beautiful . . .
EDIT: just saw this info on NeoGAF.
Xenoblade Chronicles will be launching later this year for Wii featuring both English and Japanese voice-overs and will be fully subtitled in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
Now that should shut up the dub vs sub complainers . . .

News about XC should be coming from NoA shortly. Remember that outside of E3, games are now usually announced in Europe before North America.

All right, let me start with this. Everywhere I go, people seem to be pissed that Nintendo never wants to try any new franchises anymore. So why is it that this intriguing game is being almost completely overlooked? Well, maybe the reason it was overlooked was because it was just a trailer and not playable on the show floor unlike the other new Nintendo franchise games there such as Line Attack Heroes or Span Smasher on Wii and Fossil Fighters or Glory of Heracles on DS. Also the game is being made by Monolith Soft. I assume it's because most gamers already played several popular franchises and don't have enough room in their minds nor money in their bank accounts to check out the kind of games you mentioned. I usually see customers like soccer moms buying mostly licensed games. It sometimes really confuses me on whether a game or franchise belongs to the developer or publisher. Many thought Sin & Punishment belonged to Treasure, all because they are hardcore Treasure fans, but SSBB proved that it actually belongs to Nintendo. If you see any Taito arcade game, you're probably seeing one that wasn't developed by Taito, but by an uncredited developer. Toaplan, Kaneko and Allumer are good examples. And no, Glory of Heracles belongs to Paon, which had former Data East Corporation (DECO) employees move into it shortly after it was founded before DECO's bankruptcy. They also own the rights to Data East's iconic Karnov and Atomic Runner Chelnov arcade games. Everything else belongs to G-mode, except for the Jake Hunter (WorkJam) and Metal Max (Createch) franchises.

Some guy I've never heard of says he has a voice roll in the game. Also says it's coming out in September. Squee.

Xenoblade has managed to do something that Another Code:R and Sin and Punishment 2 didn't get to do . . . A rating from the OFLC!!!! (Australia/New Zealand release confirmed! Or at least a higher chance of release down here).

I'm not sure what it will accomplish, but Xenoblade pre-orders (under the old name of Monado) are now the highest selling video game product on Amazon. Hopefully someone at NoA will take notice.

EDIT: A release may still not be confirmed for NA, it appears that Dtoid may have just misunderstood the service rep's response. So Opeartion Rainfall (that link will give you the details), appears to be going well. A NOA customer service rep has confirmed a NA release for Xenoblade and since NOA at this point hasn't denied it, this might be some good news.
