All right, let me start with this. Everywhere I go, people seem to be pissed that Nintendo never wants to try any new franchises anymore. So why is it that this intruiging game is being almost completely overlooked? E3 Site. I'm actually looking forward to more info on this than anything else Nintendo showed. (Except maybe Zelda Wii) So, looks like some sort of real-time RPG. I can totally roll with that. Some story information would be nice though.

Well, maybe the reason it was overlooked was because it was just a trailer and not playable on the show floor unlike the other new Nintendo franchise games there such as Line Attack Heroes or Span Smasher on Wii and Fossil Fighters or Glory of Heracles on DS.
Also the game is being made by Monolith Soft.

Yeah, this game looks incredibly fun. I know I'd enjoy it.
But as far as the other franchise games, people won't care or notice. The ones that do make it Stateside will be relegated to "Excitetruck" status.

Is this a true blue Nintendo franchise? Or does it belong to someone else.

It's Nintendo. Monolith Soft is making the game, Nintendo is publishing. The art looks like true Monolith Soft art. This game reminds me of why I'm glad Nintendo bought Monolith Soft.

well it really does look pretty good. I especially like the fact it looks more real time RPG than the usual turn based battles (that said I don't play many RPGs, or have any other systems, so it's probably pretty common on other systems) anyway, also it looks pretty epic scale, especially that first battle. I really want this game, it looks like the perfect epic adventure that Motion Plus could really do wonders for.

I think what's selling me, more than anything, is that it looks a lot like FF12/Kingdom Hearts, and that's a pretty solid gameplay engine, so I know I'd enjoy this thoroughly.

I figure Monado has more of a chance because of the fact it is on the Wii and is a much needed JRPG.

Now Nintendo's milking a franchise they don't even own! Xenogears is owned by Square Enix and made by the team that would become Monolith Soft. Xenosaga is owned by Namco Bandai and made by Monolith Soft. Xenoblade is owned by Nintendo and is being made by Monolith Soft. So Xenoblade is more than likely going to be a reboot of Xenosaga which is a reboot of Xenogears. Not only is the plot convoluted but so are the ownership issues... Yeesh!

Good golly, I just realized... Between Alphadream, Brownie Brown, and Monolith Soft, Nintendo has nearly the entire Squaresoft of old under their control! Heck, even Mistwalker is making a game for Nintendo!
