Part 2 of the cameo list... cameos on the original Game Boy (and I grouped Virtual Boy as there's not many cameos there). These are now on the site.
Game Boy
Alleyway
1. Mario appears at the start of the first round, jumping into the paddle. He also appears on the boxart.
2. All of the bonus stages feature characters or enemies from Super Mario Bros.: Mario, Koopa Troopa, Blooper, Piranha Plant, Bullet Bill, Goomba, Cheep-Cheep, Bowser.
3. Stages 16-18 are in the shape of Mario's head.
4. After clearing the game, Mario's head (in classic Mario Bros. artwork style) appears with the message "Nice Play".
5. Mario appears on the US boxart.
Baseball
1. "Mario" and "Luigi" are the pitchers for the Bears and the Eagles respectively.
2. Mario appears on the US boxart.
Donkey Kong Land
Several stages are set on a construction site, based on the original Donkey Kong.
Donkey Kong Land 2
Cranky's Hall of Videogame Heroes returns from DKC2, but only features Mario and Yoshi.
Donkey Kong Land 3
One of the stages is named "Miller Instinct".
F-1 Race
At the start of each race (except the first) you are cheered on by a Nintendo character. They are: Toad, Luigi, Peach, Link, Mario, Pit, Donkey Kong. They all appear again at the end, and are joined by Bowser.
Game Boy Camera
1. A man in a Mario costume dances on the title screen. There are different versions in the Japanese and US versions.
2. The Show menu is decorated with artwork from the Donkey Kong Jr. arcade machine.
3. The Doodle menu features a plastic model of Luigi.
4. The Link > Transfer menu is decorated with characters from Game & Watch game Judge.
5. The Special menu is decorated with Mario driving a classic car.
6. The Link menu is decorated with character artwork from arcade game Sky Skipper.

Kirby's Dream Land
Lololo and Lalala are based on the classic HAL hero Lolo (Adventures of Lolo) and the damsel in distress Lala.
Kirby's Dream Land 2
1. Miniboss Blocky originally appeared as an enemy in Adventures of Lolo.
2. In the Japanese version, the female Gooey is replaced by Chao, the female protagonist of Yuuyuuki. The Sound Test scene is also based on a scene from Yuuyuuki.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
1. Tarin is based on Mario. He transforms into a raccoon by eating mushrooms near the beginning of the game.
2. Later in the game you find a chicken keeper who resembles Luigi.
3. Mr. Write is based on Dr. Wright from Sim City - he has Sim City music playing in his house. You receive a letter from a goat named Christine (who also has Sim City's music in her house) to give to Mr. Write, and when he opens it, it's a photo of Princess Peach.
4. Richard and the frogs in his villa originated in For the Frog the Bell Tolls. The music in his house is also from that game.
5. Totaka's Song appears three times - once in Richard's house, once on the File Select screen if you enter your name as Totakeke (JP version) or MOYSE (German DX version), and a third undiscovered version ripped from the soundtrack.
6. The first item in the trading sequence is the Yoshi Doll.
7. Madam Meowmeow keeps Chain Chomps as pets, named Bow-Wow (the Japanese name for Chomp is Wanwan, the noise a dog makes).
8. One of the enemies in Eagle Tower is Anti-Kirby. It tries to suck you up.
9. Many Mario enemies appear in the game, including Goomba, Cheep Cheep, Blooper, Boo, Piranha Plant, Pokey and Shy Guy.
10. You learn the Frog Song of Soul from Mamu, the villain from Dokidoki Panic / Super Mario Bros. 2 (renamed Wart in the US).
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
The first character in the trading line in Horon Village is Mr. Left - actually Dr. Wright again (from Sim City).
Mario Golf
The last course is called "Link's Club", and its symbol is the Triforce.
Mario's Picross
There are several Nintendo-themed puzzles:

Kinoko Cup: Game Boy, Star, Bullet Bill, Grand Goombas
Star Cup: Mini Yoshi, Spiny, Mushroom
Time Trial: Koopa Troopa
Pokemon Red/Green/Blue
1. In the Japanese versions, one of the default names for the player character is Satoshi, and one of the default names for your rival is Shigeru, after Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri and Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto. Also note these names were selected for the hero and rival of the anime as well.
2. In the Mimic Girl's house, check out her SNES and it says "A game with Mario wearing a bucket on his head." This refers to Mario & Wario, also developed by Pokemon developer Game Freak.
3. You can find the Game Freak development building and talk to the staff who worked on the game. You receive a diploma from them if you ever catch all 150 Pokemon.
Pokemon Gold/Silver
One of the trainers says "A winner is you!", referring to the iconic catchphrase that appeared in Pro Wrestling. Where is this trainer, so I can get a screenshot?
Qix
1. Reaching different high scores, you will be rewarded with images of Mario dressed in different world outfits.
2. Mario & Luigi are player 1 & 2 in the multiplayer game respectively.
Super Mario Land
The Fly enemy is based on the Fighter Fly from Mario Bros.
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
1. Totaka's Song plays on the Game Over screen.
2. The final level of Mario Zone is made of Lego blocks. In a couple of places you can see "N&B" written on them. N&B Blocks were Nintendo's own version of Lego, released in Japan in the 70's.
Tennis
Mario appears as the umpire.
Tetris
Mario & Luigi appear as player 1 & 2 in the multiplayer game.
Wario Land 2
1. Some of the treasures Wario can find are from other games. They include an Ocarina (LoZ: Ocarina of Time), Megavitamin (Dr. Mario), Yoshi Egg, Metroid and a Game Boy.
2. The Flagman DD minigame can be unlocked. This version of Game & Watch Flagman stars Dangerous Duck. It is actually based on the version that appears in Game Boy Gallery (Europe-only release).

Totaka's Song appears when you rescue a fake scientist.
