I have started adding the Game Boy cameos. I'm probably about halfway through the list so far, which a load of holes (still) in the Game Boy Camera B-Album.
Nenson, where did you find out about that For the Frog the Bell Tolls cameo? I just checked it out, and that entire building is called the Nantendo Building... not just that TV broadcast (although that is the only time it's written in English characters).
On the others... I'm still unsure about the SML2 Gordo cameo, but I'm definitely sure Gordo, the SML2 enemy and the Urchins in Link's Awakening are just a standard urchin design. I might add SML2 as a cameo as they look almost identical to Gordo.

I played through the game myself. I forgot to mention that I did use the Super Game Boy colors for the snapshot.
I also noticed some time ago that certain songs in Balloon Kid are used in the Game Boy Camera, albeit most are slightly altered.
I thought I was first to mention the Game Bo Gallery cameos a while. back.
All of the colors are wrong on all of the screenshots. Want me to retake them using their proper pallets?

I played through the game myself. I forgot to mention that I did use the Super Game Boy colors for the snapshot. I played it from my savestate at the Totaka's Song location and expanded on what you posted, but I credited you. I also noticed some time ago that certain songs in Balloon Kid are used in the Game Boy Camera, albeit most are slightly altered. Well, you didn't mention it. I discovered this myself by listening to the ripped soundtracks. I thought I was first to mention the Game Bo Gallery cameos a while. back. How much of a while back? You didn't post it in the cameos board, as I am doing regular searches to see who posted what. If you can find the post then I'll amend it. All of the colors are wrong on all of the screenshots. Want me to retake them using their proper pallets? No they're not. The screenshots are all taken with the default Game Boy Color pallet. This was intentional. Edit: Right, everything's up except the Gordo in SML2 cameo.

What do you mean "Richard's Song"? In Link's Awakening? I included all of the information on his background music AND Totaka's Song in his house already.
I spotted that before you posted and amended the credit to include Grandy02 for pointing out the similarity with the Game Boy Gallery version.

I still think Nintendo left the border out of the GBC version for space issues. I didn't mean to post this picture. It was for another thing altogether. Attachments:

Here's an interesting Pokemon Pinball Cameo (Didn't know whether or not I should put this in the "Cool Stuff" thread, but whatever...) Any of these high scores look familiar? Lemme try and break it down. NIN - Obviously Nintendo CRE - Any ideas? Creatures Inc.GAM - Game FreakHAL - I'm thinking HAL Labs, considering the similarities between Pokemon Pinball and Kirby's Pinball Land are striking. JUP - Jupiter, the developers of Pokemon Pinball. Anyone have any ideas what CRE might mean? I know it has to be something, considering how high up it is... Scratch that, I'm pretty sure it's for Creatures Inc.

Companies putting their name in the high score table isn't much of a cameo if you ask me.
And to be honest, I don't like the idea of pre-entered high scores. It makes me not wanting to beat the game. Cases like Super Paper Mario gives even more discouragement; as the high score tables of the minigames consists of other characters (compete with photos) in the game.
And once again, the name is HAL Laboratory, Inc. with a singular "Laboratory".

Yeah really... Companies putting their name in the high score table isn't much of a cameo if you ask me. ...this is for Fry to decide... ...and this is totally irrelevant.

It isn't....but this is supposed to be the topic for pointing out cameos. ...Which is why I'd best not carry this any further into derailment.

Teev, that's perfectly valid. YL, nobody likes it when you correct them over things like that. Well... unless you're fact-checking the website or something for me

I did notice something that is actually a cameo. In Donkey Kong (The Game Boy version) when you fight several Donkey Kong boss battles, Donkey Kong will Stomp on the ground causing objects to fall and one of those objects are a a flipper from Balloon Fight. They even flip like the flippers do. Many of the sounds are from the Arcade version The first World 9 boss is actually the third level from Donkey Kong Jr. and the following levels are replicas of the original Arcade levels with a different theme.
