Please describe the contents of videos. I can't watch them at the moment, but I am also working on the next update on NinDB and could do with the extra content.

This one's a bit of stretch, but I thought I'd bring it up. The video shows the second row of masks in Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. The masks are of a fox, a bird, a rabbit, a frog, and a pig. The video suggests that this is a reference to the characters of StarFox (Fox, Falco, Peppy, Slippy, and Pigma). What do you think? Coincidence or cameo?

Yeah, that was brought up a looong time ago. It's cool to think of but I doubt it was intentional.

Actually, I think this one could be intentional. I remember it being brought up and it's worth mentioning.

Here's one for F-Zero X, Port Town 2 is really a remade version of Port Town II from F-Zero (SNES).

Hey there, welcome aboard.
That's not a cameo though. F-Zero X re-hashes a couple levels from the first F-Zero.
Pretty much every racing game sequel has levels from previous games.

Not always true. Venues yes, track designs, no usually. Mario Kart DS was the first Mario Kart game to bring back some older track designs. F-Zero X to F-Zero GX, completely new tracks. See my point? It would be boring to race the same tracks from the first game in every sequel after that.
Well Mute City and Big Blue's music in F-Zero X is remixed from the SNES F-Zero. Every other song is new.

They're still not cameos though, because they're multiple games in the same series.

If I go into more details about available tracks, etc., it might get a brief mention there, but I can't imagine I'd find anywhere suitable to put this cameo. PS. Mario Kart: Super Circuit was the first one to bring back old stages

Whoops, forgot about that. I guess I didn't like that game very much back then if that's why I forgot about it...

Well, when I said "racing games", I meant games like Ridge Racer and Burnout.

Something worth mentioning, I read somewhere that Tingle was designed after Koji Kondo, which would be kinda funny as the Happy Mask Salesman looks so much like Miyamoto. Think there's an Eiji Aonuma hidden somewhere? His hairstyle looks suspiciously like Link's...

I wish other systems have BIOS screens like this... (This and Famicom DS have Mario in the boot screen. GB, GBC, GBA, DS, GC do have simple startup screens (The GC one's kind of cool, actually). NES, SNES, 64, Wii have no startup screen at all.)

Here's a crazy one from the Zelda Wiki: The really fucking creepy Link dupe from the Elegy of Emptiness may be a caricture of Miyamoto as Link. Compare: I can sorta see it, and anything to explain that freaky dupe helps. It even makes thematic sense- the dupes for the other forms are their original "soul", IE the Deku Butler's son, or Darmani. Miyamoto has said he based the Zelda series after playing near his house when he was young, so Link is, in a very roundabout way, an expy for him.
