Something I just noticed: The Mario and Bowser in WarioWare's weird street fighter-esque microgames are based on SMB-era designs- Mario is designed like his original sprite, with tan skin, and Bowser is the blue and grey he is in his SMB era Japanese design. Not sure if it's worth noting though.

Has anyone already noticed Carton/Bon-Bon's hat from Quinty/Mendel Palace as part of one of Jill's costumes in Drill Dozer?

First of all, when making claims it helps to use images and links to back up what you're saying rather than making everyone jump through hoops to find out what you mean.
I'm looking at official artwork for Quinty and the sprites and they appear a little different from each other. One's a sailor hat and one looks like a baseball cap. On top of that, the fact you say part of the costume doesn't fill me with confidence.
Argue your case with images and links and I'll consider it.

I thought I had to start all over on the ROM version of Drill Dozer using VisualBoyAdvance, but I noticed that I can hook up my Game Boy Player-equipped GCN to what I got for Christmas in 2010 called the "ION EZ VHS Converter" (or "ION VCR 2 PC Converter"). Here is a screenshot from Drill Dozer: And here is the front and back covers of Quinty. Jill's costume might be more of a reference to the one on the lower-left corner, who is a female clone of Carton/Bon-Bon, which makes sense, because Jill is also female. Despite being the protagonist like Carton/Bon-Bon, the developers had to use the female version.

Pretty sure that's a coincidence- it's clearly a frog head. It looks like the frog enemy from Launch Base Zone in Sonic 3, to give an example.

Yarr, not sure about that. Koopa shells look like cartoon turtle shells, so other cartoon turtle shells are also likely to look like Koopa shells. Hard to pin down whether it's a cameo or not.

Don't think so... then those enemies shouldbecalled KeronoKero's, or NokoNokero's.
EDIT: That hat from Guinty-cameo discussed above seems to be used by Kotone/Lyra from HeartGold&SoulSilver these days as well?

I have some interesting things I've noticed while playing some of my GBA games... This one may be grasping at straws, but these songs are just so damn similar I HAD to point it out... Also, in Super Mario Advance, Clawgrip begins life as a Sidestepper, but when he transforms he begins to mimic Donkey Kong by the way he throws rocks.

I honestly don't hear much of a similarity between those two songs other than a similar tempo.
You're right about Sidestepper. I get the feeling it's one of those so-obvious-we-missed-it cameos.
Anyway, put your mind at ease. I am slogging through the cameos right now.
