I honestly think you guys are underestimating the average fan, and exaggerating the series decay Smash Bros. inflicted. But hey, that's just me.

To be honest I never remember F-Zero having a real fan community even back in its prime. I think a lot of people love F-Zero, but they always just integrated with other fandoms.
