"Firebrand" was not used in Japan as the name of the main character in Gargoyle's Quest/Demon's Crest, right? They only call him "Red Arremer" there?
That confuses me, because when they include Red Arremer in a game like this or SVC Chaos, I'm never sure if it's supposed to be the character from GQ/DC, or just some random Red Arremer.

8bit - Strider's been used before without too many problems - they just cough up a copyright notice and they're golden.
Nester - Judging by his SvC Chaos appearance, they're going with a random Red Arremer. He had none of his talents gained from Demon's Crest, and all of the Red Arremers can do what Firebrand can in the Gargoyle's Quest games. He also summons Ghosts N Goblins baddies as specials in that.

So, if this is true, this would be the first VS game without Roll, I will miss her, but as long as I got Classic Megaman Im OK...

Mike Haggar huh? Ha, ha, awesome. He is pretty hilarious.
So if that list (which shows Mike's last name in there) from the prevoius page is true then I'am fine with it, too bad my 3 wanted Capcom characters won't be in the game though but I live.
I already have Spidey and Deadpool in so I'am all good on the Marvel side.

Haggar's accidental leak (Capcom pulled it once they realized their error) LOOKS like it's with the MvC3 style, so I'd wager he is indeed in the game, and it agrees with the list The Qu put up last week. Some people think that the blue arm in the bottom left corner is Classic Mega Man's, too, so it could be a double leak. I predict Haggar will be the next confirmed character to compensate for this. We'll see.

Which three did you want, Poppy? Hsien-Ko, Phoenix and Franziska. I gave up on Hsien-Ko back when Niitsuma said Morrigan and Felicia would be the only Darkstalkers characters and I was just being a little bit hopeful that Phoenix and Franziska could appear here to make up for being cut from TvsC. There was another one too actually, Ibuki. Of all ninjas in fighting games (and maybe fictional ninjas in general) she always been my top favorite one, would have been cool to have her in but thats not gonna happen. So beside this, I'am happy with the Capcom side, I got Ammy and Viewtiful Joe at least. |

So, no news on Mike Haggar yet? Well, I am pretty satisfied with the Capcom side (Amaterasu, Arthur, Tron Bonne, and possibly Mike Haggar and Mega Man)... I wish we could have gotten a Breath of Fire character though, like Ryu, Nina, and Deis (or Bleu as I call her). Oh, well.  |

Nope, no news on any characters for November yet. There's a conference in Moscow on the 20th - 21st I guess, and some other Capcom fighter info is coming then, so I would predict that if we're going to be hearing anything this month, it'll be that weekend.

We've got some new faces today! Zero returns from Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, while She-Hulk makes her Vs. series debut. Clips, anyone?
She-Hulk is looking awesome - love that Sunday Driver super. And Zero looks improved from his TvC appearance, and Johnny Yong Bosch is voicing him in English! Score! Like the Ghosts N Goblins stage, too. More as it happens!

Yeah Zero's specials look way cooler there, but I can't recognize the music. Is it from the Megaman Zero series? Never touched those..
Ghost 'n Goblin stage looks neat. It also has Red Arremer flying around in the backdrop, but hey that sorta thing didn't stop Tron Bonne from being playable!
She-Hulk's cheesy lines are great too

Fuck yeah Zero ;D Now all we need is Bass and the Megaman section of this roster will be complete!
(Plus superhearts for Johnny Bosch, I seriously love the guy.)
