Yeah Zero's specials look way cooler there, but I can't recognize the music. Is it from the Megaman Zero series? Never touched those... I'm pretty sure it's his theme from X2, but I could be wrong. Anywho, glad Zero's in. At least one third of my most wanted Mega Man characters made the cut.

Unless Niitsuma is lying to us, there will be no more Darkstalkers in MvC3, and Hsien-Ko falls under that banner. However, guessing the DLC is not shabby, so there may be some merit here. I still doubt it, though.

We have a release date! February 15th, 2011. ;D Can't wait! Also, if you preorder the Special Edition of the game, you get a whole bunch of bonus stuff: A "steelbook case" (whatever that is), a prologue comic, a one-month subscription to Marvel's online comic service (this sort of thing exists? I shouldn't really be surprised, but still...) and a download voucher that lets you get Shuma Gorath and Jill Valentine not only four weeks before they become available to the public, but also for free! Score! Source.

Jill and Shuma artwork. www.fightersgeneration.com/np6/char2/jill-mvc3.jpgwww.fightersgeneration.com/np6/char2/shuma-mvc3.jpgUmm, is Jill's look here exclusive to MvsC3 or something? Maybe I don't remember it but I don't recall her ever looking like that in any RE game. Anyway, never been a fan of DLC characters so I probably won't use it, unless by any chance a favorite Cap (good ole Wright comes to mind) or Marvel character of mine pops up. Nice to see Zero back and I welcome She-Hulk with open arms in her VS debut. Was never a fan of her or anything like that, but I always liked smart Marvel babes who can kick ass and She-Hulk is pretty well known for such things. She looks like she be a fun-to-use character.

Resident Evil 5 is where Jill's look is from.

Want Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 art? I've got you covered. Also, TEi, I thought that too, but it's a four-week wait for Jill and Shuma, not an advance on their DLC.

Uh... I don't really like how Jill looks in this game. She seems more like a Zero Suit Samus knock-off than a soldier.
I also found it kinda funny how the female Marvel characters are basically the distaff counterparts of the male Marvel characters.

Strider Hiryu has been deconfirmed, according to Eventhubs. No cyberninjas this time, alas. I took a look through the list of deconfirmed characters...but I'm taking all of that with a grain of salt. Is eventhumbs an official gaming news site? The fact that almost none of those "deconfirmations" link to sources leaves me doubtful.

Eventhubs is a Capcom fighting game blog, and that list comes from a bunch of posts I've seen there that have been taken from Niitsuma, Seth Killian and other Capcom staff/Marvel reps. I can see your doubt from that one post, but there is backing to many of those characters listed.

I believe this is the first time an ESRB description has made me want a game even more.

Rumor Alert - It's possible Mega Man is in the game, as the IMDb for Marvel Vs. Capcom lists an actor playing the role of Mega Man, a Zachary Gordon. He played the lead in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but has done some voice work, as well. Could be legit, although Gordon seems a little, well, big for Capcom to land for some MvC3 voiceovers, but we'll see.
