I don't disagree with you, kirbychu - it's an upgrade to the first one, which should have been what came out. Capcom's trying to market this as a new title, though, which is what I was saying there. Perhaps I made that a little unclear - I did write it a little late for me. XD No, I think I was the one being unclear. I wasn't disagreeing with anything you said. I was more disagreeing with Capcom for considering this a new game. Sorry. Ah yes, that makes perfect sense. Why delay the DLC for a couple of months when you can force everyone to buy the entire game a second time to get it? This is why I'm not rich, I would never think of being that big a dick.

See, this is the difference between the Wii and the other consoles. People complain that the Wii doesn't get enuff games, and they complain when the other systems get too many games!

Notice how all the Capcom characters they added for this were in the top 10 picks on their poll.
Except for Mega Man X.
Who came in 1st place.

I don't think anybody's complaining that the system has too many games. The problem here is that Capcom released a fairly broken game, and rather than fixing it with a patch, they're selling the fixed version as another full retail game with a handful of new characters on each side. This is a game we already have, that has been out for less than six months. I've only had it for about three weeks. Now if people who own it already want to be able to play it properly it's going to have cost them $120. For one game.

It seems my attempts at irony have gotten weak. I'll shut up now.

Dead Rising: Act Zero was fine. I doubt we would have gotten that scenario at all in the retail release, so its all bonus content - and it was cheap to boot. That being said, the upcoming Dead Rising 2 rehash with Frank West should have been DLC, so even Dead Rising isn't without its problems.
Regarding UMvC, I most certainly saw this coming, so I didn't buy the first one. So not only do I get to experience Phoenix Wright, Frank West and Rocket Racoon for the first time with you guys, I get Viewtiful Joe, Deadpool and the rest as newbies too. So go me.

WHAT.
WHAT.
So not just Mega Man, but Ace Attorney's getting the shaft too?
Well, it's official. Capcom have killed everything I was looking forward to from them for the forseeable future.

TVEye, I think that Capcom has every right to change their minds just as much as we do. Sure, they said Nemesis, Ghost Rider, and Strider couldn't fit into the game for whatever reasons but why get mad at them for changing their minds and add those characters? Would we prefer that Capcom not add them in the game? DiU, I am with you there. I was actually waiting for Capcom to do this. I just knew that sooner or later, Capcom would re-release the game. This isn't even the first time they did that. I will never forget the many editions of Street Fighter II before we finally got Street Fighter III. Seriously, have you seen how many editions of Street Fighter II are available on Wii's Virtual Console? Anyway, I think I will be a bit more cautious by waiting to see whether Capcom makes a third edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in the next two years before I settle on Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
