So, out of curiosity, how will you be dividing this superseries up? Obviously the mainstream platformers are all going to be considered "Main series," as I can determine from the fact that this page ONLY features mainstream platformers, but after that what are you going to do? Are you going to divide the spin-offs into one superseries of its own, or break it down into Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Sports (or even further here?,) and so on? And if you have one superseries for the spin-offs, what's the plan for the RPG series?

One RPG series should be good enough. They're all linked to SMRPG, after all. Paper Mario was originally dubbed Super Mario RPG 2, and the same team as the original made the Mario and Luigi series.

Zelda shouldn't be too problematic, there are very few real spin-offs, just the Tingle subseries and Crossbow Training. Pokemon will be a bit weird, since it's main series is broken down into 4 generations featuring 3 versions (4 if you count Pokemon Blue JP) of the same game and recently created remakes of 4 of them.

Actually, it was Diskun-shaped case. The G&W within was just a yellow version of the Super Mario Bros. G&W game. If I recall correctly, the game was given out as a prize for some sort of contest involving a Famicom Disk System game (I think it might've been 3D Hot Rally but I could be wrong) and only 500 of them were produced.

Well, for the sake of brevity, you knew what I meant regarding its shape Although the game is very definitely more square than the U.S. releases to fit into the Diskun case.

Several Famicom Disk System games were coloured blue, meaning they were competition carts. They included (and may be limited to) Golf Japan Course, Golf US Course, Famicom Grand Prix: F-1 Race and 3D Hot Rally.

A simulator-type G&W Super Mario Bros game was recently released in Mario Fan Game Galaxy. Go try it. It does closely resemle the original - I know it, I've played the Miniclassic version.

If you're wondering why the site has gone quite quiet, you'll notice I've updated the list above - I am tackling the Mario series (in between WarioWare D.I.Y.)

There is SO much to do on this. I have a handful of pre-written game guides to work with, but I could really do with a little help. It's a big ol' task, and at the very least I'd like to start with characters/items/enemies for the 8-bit games, plus Easter Egg pages for all games, but a game guide or two wouldn't go amiss.

I can manage the lists no problem, but would somebody be able to help compile Easter Eggs?
