It was the season finale, not the series. In fact, season two was picked up halfway through the first season, and I think they've even bought a third. Probably should have mentioned if was just the final episode of the first season, didn't think it was going to get interpreted that way. Okay, phew. Good to hear it. I mean, I haven't nearly watched every episode (I think I'm only seven in), but it's too brilliant to end so quickly. Also the shows merchendise driven, kids buying the toys* seem to be more important than viewership. But in terms of viewership, it supposedly the most populor channel on the Hub and also makes good money through commercials as well. That TF2 version of the My Little Pony theme is fucking gold.

* Which are just solid chunks of moleded plastic (no moving parts/joints) that can be recoloured easily and passed off as a "different" pony. Which I assume would be a lot easier to make/design than say a Transformer. (Toy recolouring ain't exactly a new thing by the way, it's been around for ages) Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how all the My Little Pony toys were when I was a kid. The only one I saw that looked particularly different was a little pink dragon guy, which I'm still not convinced was actually a My Little Pony toy.

Hell yes Tintin Kuifje Love that intro music I know I've seen it quite some times as a kid, but I really don't remember much about it. Other than one of the characters having a goofy American-Dutch accent and that the ball throwing voodoo episodes featured dead people and gave me nightmaaaares (then again so did everything). Either way it gets bonus points for being one of few cartoons my dad liked to watch

Just gonna post this old Dexter's Labrotory episode (Dial M for Monkey actually) here, I remember hearing about how this episode was banned from the (crappy) Dexter's Lab DVD set or from US broadcasts, (I remember watching this when I was young) but I thought it was due to the Marvel character parodies. But you should be able to see why.

Oh man...the Silver Spooner? With gay mannerisms? Krunk gets drunk? Lol, I love Dexter's Lab! Makes me believe that the cussing episode really DOES exist!

I think it has more to do with the drinking than the gay mannerisms. I see cartoons act gay all the time on Cow and Chicken and Jimmy Neutron.
Its when they step over the line by having those biker girls chew up the carpeting...

I'm absolutely certain the cussing episode exists. In fact, I think I saw it on YouTube. It was made as an injoke among the voice cast and production crew. I think it might have been shown at Comi-Con once or twice. EDIT: Found a discussion of it.Also, on the subject of Judy Garland as a gay icon, she was once quoted as saying, "When I die I have visions of fags singing 'Over the Rainbow' and the flag at Fire Island being flown at half mast." I find this to be one of the funniest damn things I've ever heard. Especially considering my name is a half a letter away from her's.

Kinda wondering why they left it out of the DVD boxset. Protecting the kids? They're not really the target audience who buy entire boxsets. And despite that I've seen this episode about a gazillion times when I was about 10, never even realized sir spooner was being a gaywad till now What I'm saying is kids don't give a shit and fuck companies for making non-complete boxsets. (on another note, thanks for posting this because I still occasionally remember the music at 2:17, but couldn't put my finger on it where the hell it came from. Until now!)

As a kid I didn't realise the SS guy was gay but years later I realised that the Barberquer was a Galactus parody (Along with all the other Justice Friends) Here's some new trailers of the Voltron revival and the Thundercats revival. Guess which one is obviously better and of higher quality than the other?!Thundercats (it's on facebook for some reason).

Well, finally saw L'illusionniste. Sad, atmospheric and beautifully hand drawn film. And the characters actually resemble human beings this time too! Unlike that Tripletssomething movie from the same studio Watch it, it's great In other news I've seen a few more episodes of MLP:FiM. And then some more, and then marathoned all the way through the first season. Chalk one up for converted fan I guess Anyway season 2 apparently makes the cross eyed pony a regular character of sorts, wonder where they're going with that Ohyeah and I decided to start watching that Avatar cartoon finally. Figured that if I start the ball rolling I'll end up seeing what the big deal is. Hey it worked for MLP:FiM

Hey it worked for MLP:FiM Ah, thats good to hear you finally "joined the herd", I showed the first episode (and not the second) to a good friend in real life and he liked it, he also enjoyed all the crazy pony/movie mash ups. I'm heard of the L'illusionniste, and that trailer was great, it still nice to see 2D movies, need to try finding it somewhere. Also if you need to find episodes of Avatar, try using Mastertoons.comHere's another Dial M for Monkey episode, starring the guest voice of the recently deceased Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Got this from Destructoid. Also confirmed is that the anime movie Redline will be getting distributed in the NA, UK and Australia/NZ. It took 7 years to make this movie (And it appears to be all 2D animation) and looks kind of like F-Zero.

There was a time I knew Rasslor's entire speech from the end. Alas, those days are long gone, but that is still my favorite Monkey segment. Only later did I find out the whole episode is a loving homage to a Thing story from Marvel Two-In-One.
RIP, Macho Man. You had to Super Slam the Rapture to save us all...
