What I think nobody at Capcom took into consideration is the poor timing of such a comic reveal. I'm all for "Hobo with a Megabuster" Megaman here (because I have a sense of humor), but after the cancellation of Legends 3 and Universe, and the "lack of Megaman in MvC3" (despite having two VERY POPULAR characters to represent the franchise regardless), this goofiness can very easily be misconstrued as a big middle finger.
Independent from that statement, though, Capcom is perhaps the single largest corporate gaming entity that has such a thorough loathing for its fans and consumer base. While I have no doubt that Hobo with a Megabuster is just an unfortunate coincidence (Inafune himself signed off on it after all), Capcom is still pretty awful to the people who want to buy their products, even moreso lately.

Capcom are just plain refusing to let me give them money lately. Mega Man and Ace Attorney are series I'm near guaranteed to buy, but every Mega Man game gets cancelled and the chances of us getting another Ace Attorney outside of Japan are looking slim...

Eh... games get canceled all the times. Mega Man isn't the exception to the rule. Okay, it sucks that both MML3 and MMU got canceled and MvC3 doesn't have a playable Mega Man... but that does not mean Capcom hates Mega Man or his fans. Most fans are just too anal about it. They could easily use Zero's alternate costume... he looks exactly like Mega Man X. At least Mega Man X used the Z-Saber in Mega Man X6.
Because of Bara Man being in SFxT, I want to give Capcom my money because I love how they actually made him look awesome (and sexy) compared to the original American NES box art.. Rock Man? Pffft!! Gimme me a real Mega MAN!

....Your taste in men is even weirder than TEi's. I think it's great that people can consider him sexy. I mean, seeing him do those flips? Hearing him say "This is my destiny!"? These make him reek coolness to me. I'm gaining respect for Mega MAN. And some may say I'm weird because I consider Rose to be the sexiest Street Fighter character. She's just so classy... |

Oh, yeah... Love them big... I gotta pick up this game... it's got what I want... Final Fight characters (Rolento, Poison, Hugo Andore, maybe Cody and Guy) and big handsome men like Abel, Bob and Mega MAN, and as a bonus, Pac-Man, a bear and two cats are in it, too.
