Portal 2 just got a new DLC, the main feature being: That's right, Stage Editors! And for those who say "D'aw, I don't own Portal 2", fix that, now. And Valve'll meet you half way, as there's currently a sale going on for both Portal and Portal 2. Both games get a 66% discount, allowing you do buy both games at USD6.19, or you can choose to buy just one of the games. Don't believe me? See for yourself. Hurry, though, the offer ends in about 2 days. Aw, you say you didn't manage to buy the game and the offer is over? Well, you're in luck, as Valve extended the offer to May 14th. What are you waiting for? SourceI feel like such a tool...

Thanks for the heads up! I ended up buying Stacking and Toki Tori, two games I've wanted to play for a while. Hell, I thought Toki Tori looked pretty cool back when the GBC version was released 12 years ago.

Just a warning, there have apparently been problems with Amnesia. Namely, textures literally not existing, so the game is a black void.

Alright people, I come bearing a question. It's been ages since I've logged in to Steam, and now that I'm back (to get the Pyrovision even though it's unlikely I'll play again), I'm greeted with an empty library. img.photobucket.com/albums/v351/macromediaflashmx2005/FE%20Stats/EmptySteam.pngWhatever's happened to the TF2 and the Meet the Team videos I've downloaded? Those aren't physically in my machine, but they should have the record that I have "bought" those (for $0), no? EDIT - The game page does say I've played TF2 before. img.photobucket.com/albums/v351/macromediaflashmx2005/FE%20Stats/Not-so-emptySteam.pngIs there any quick way to get all of what I previously installed installed again? I'm not interested in, say, downloading all the Meet the Team videos one by one. EDIT-EDIT - Tried toying around, and now I don't think they have records on my viewed media. Hm.

Have you tried clicking on the "your steam name" Account in the top right of the steam client?
When I click my one, I get a list of all my "licenses and subscriptions" with the Steam store (Eg games I've brought/been gifted)

I've found that free to play games only show up in your Steam library if you have them downloaded. I just switched to a new machine a week or so ago and DC Universe Online wasn't in my library any more (TF2 was, but I actually bought that before it was free). Just find it in the store and redownload and it should be fine.

Thanks. It's not really a big hassle anyway, with the download and installation done mostly in background. I'm surprised to find the system not having such records, though. I thought free games would be treated as if they're paid for at $0 (and thus go through all payment records and whatnot).

Hey hey, so they finally kicked off 2012's Steam Summer sale The catch this year is that the community can vote for games to have megadeals. The winners then get a huge discount for about 8 hours or so. This basically means that you can go to sleep and wake up just missing the Saints Row III super sale

Another feature Steam has added is Steam Badges Sort of like acheveiments for things you have done on Steam (Eg, years of service, summer sale and more) Also Steam is introducing Steam Greenlight, since Valve is so slow introducing other companies games to Steam*, the community can vote for what games to come to Steam instead. Will be introduced at the end of August. This will make it a LOT easier for little indie developers to get their games on Steam. * Supposedly quite a few people just get anothet companies game (like Call of Duty 2) change the title and submit for review for Steam and Valve has to go through filtering that crap out to see what's legit.
