My bet its that Nintendo will try to give third party games a little of spotlight this time (I don´t care for any of those games but I see why its important) Now I need some games from here to Wiiu there is neither interesting coming on Wii or 360 (the two systems I own) Dates for Skyward sword and Kirby Wii please!!

Overall, I loved the strong showing they had for the 3DS. It makes me glad that I invested in the console, knowing we're actually going to get good games for it in the coming months.
However, the WiiU didn't really show off that much. I'm glad Nintendo is finally getting on the HD wagon, but I've had it up to here with gimmicky bullshit. Give me a controller with four buttons and a d-pad and I'll be set.
Really, the most gimmicky controller I've ever had was the Dreamcast's, and the only gimmick it had was the memory ports - overall harmless, though a bit clunky.

Wii U's console is the kind of gimmicky I love. Being able to play the console without the TV turned on is definitely relevant to my interests. While every other console is busy trying to wrestle the controller out of my hands, Nintendo is busy making it more useful than it's ever been.

Wii U is still quite a disappointment.
But the rest were awesome. More reasons to get an expensive 3DS.

Now, I did dig the further expansion of the 3DS titles from last year: Mario Kart 3DS, Super Mario 3D, Kid Icarus Uprising...Gimme a fuck yeah. Man, that other guy in the beginning of the Kid Icarus preview has a strong Castlevania or Final Fantasy vibe. Luigi's Mansion 2 does seem to be a strong improvement over the first one.
But really, that's about all of it that stood out this time. I guess the games department for this E3 really was more for the 3DS.
And the Wii U, nice concept for gameplay, but New SMB Mii seems to openly scream, "Don't think this is a new Mario game, because it's not!"

I thought it was a good conference. I guess it pays off having your expectations set pretty low Really though I expected them to reveal no more then 2 new games, mostly showing off footage from announced titles, trailers of alpha versions of first party WiiU games and showing off WiiU 3rd party support of mostly yesteryears releases. They did a little better than that! Apparently though the third party WiiU footage was footage taken straight from PC/PS3/360/whatever gameplay. And apparently Reggie keeps dodging GTV's questions about the console's capabilities so... yeah But I'm gonna buy this shit the moment Smash comes out anyway and Nintendo knows it Funny enough I'm mostly excited for the games listed at their E3 site which they didn't show at the conference. Can't wait for Kirby Mass Effect Attack!

And apparently Reggie keeps dodging GTV's questions about the console's capabilities so... yeah They did show us what it was capable of, though. I've definitely never seen anything as gorgeous as that tech demo rendered in real time before. It would take my computer six solid weeks at the very least to render that clip. And my computer's built for rendering! I'm honestly surprised you guys were disappointed by the Wii U, it blew me away more than anything else at this E3.

This is all I've gathered regarding the specs... To be honest, I was very confused during the show because they never zoomed in the console itself.

There was a lot of confusion during the chat about whether this was just a controller for the Wii or whether it was a new system. But that wasn't clear until they showed off the bird video.
I kept expecting something silly to happen during the bird video... maybe Wario or Tingle ruining the shot, and even right up to the end I was expecting the Balloon Fight fish to appear! Oh well... I guess there's still time ;D
Nintendo did the right thing in showing the controller, not focusing on the box that sits next to the TV, and letting third parties run with it as that's where Nintendo's really struggled with the Wii... getting successful third party games that aren't about dancing like an eejit.
I'm surprised the 3DS didn't have more announcements though. The same games as we knew about last year plus one... and while Luigi's Mansion 2 is an awesome idea, and the other games are looking better every day, I can't help but feel it was a missed opportunity for Nintendo to really push the system.
Now I'm sitting back and half-expecting SSB4 to be shown off at some after-show event like Brawl was back when that was first revealed. Takamaru for SSB4!

As soon as I clicked the link to Nintendo's E3 website in English, it started right before Shigeru Miyamoto's Zelda designers walked on stage before the end of the Zelda 25th Anniversary segment ended. In the Nintendo 3DS upcoming lineup, I was correct on Super Mario 3DS showing many references to Super Mario Bros. 3. For Star Fox 64 3D, the "Do a barrel roll!" quote of Peppy Hare's has been annoying ever since it caused itself to become a meme. And now I understand why Nintendo chose Star Fox 64 instead of its predecessors in being remade. Not only Star Fox 64 is mostly a remake of the original Star Fox with elements borrowed from the canceled Star Fox 2, but it has multiplayer. The original Star Fox was extremely interesting in my opinion back when it was released. When Star Fox 2's release date was announced, I wasn't aware of it being canceled. When Star Fox 64 came out, it was also exciting, but its sequels overusing the same main theme song of Star Fox 64 instead of the original one by Hajime Hirasawa, which made me lose interest. Its fanbase made it worse by creating the "Do a barrel roll!" meme while creating annoying furries, another meme, but mostly about Krystal. The polygons of the original Star Fox were another thing that made me like it, but when later released video games made the graphics look smoother and less polygonal like Virtua Fighter 2 for instance, I was kind of sad. That's why I bought Stunt Race FX. To simplify all of this without explaining why, I'm not sure about buying Star Fox 64 3D. For Mario Kart 3DS, if R.O.B. doesn't appear in the roster, Mario would be my pick, because I like protagonists more than the dilly-dallying secondary characters and sometimes antagonist characters. Several days ago, I learned from some articles on Wikipedia like the Luigi's Mansion and Nintendo 3DS ones, that some GCN titles including Luigi's Mansion were originally planned to feature stereoscopic 3D, but were canceled due to the lack of available 3D-compatible television sets. Kid Icarus: Uprising sounds pretty exciting and a little sad at the same time, especially the Medusa part, because I was hoping to see more things that derived from Of Myths and Monsters. That secondary character with the sword at the "Wait! You two know each other?" part reminds me of Goat from Fuuki's Asura Blade and Asura Buster, another major secondary character who is the rival of Yashaoh, the protagonist of the Asura series. In fact, I created the Wikipedia article of Fuuki earlier today before I slept. And did you know that Nintendo is one of Fuuki's customers? Perhaps someday they might collaborate with each other on one or more projects. The AR cards, though interesting, might clutter my bedroom again, so I'm not sure about buying that. Now for the newly announced WiiU. I thought the New Controller looked like it will not be comfortable to hold and use, but it might have the same effect as seeing the N64 controller's joystick for the first time, which made me fear that it will not succeed, but I noticed it wasn't about what I thought. The New Controller makes it more comfortable for me to play the games and watch online videos in bed than in a chair or other furniture you just sit in, because it bothers me to try to see even the tiniest and most camouflaged graphics on the television screen. For instance, it's difficult for me to see dark-colored characters in very dark stages in the SSB series, especially when they are far apart from each other. The other ideas such as being used as another screen to interact along with the television set, made me not want to do them, unless if any upcoming must-have games use that feature. The 3RD party game lineup doesn't seem interesting enough. The Tekken series is becoming more popular and highly praised than the series that started the 3D fighting genre, the Virtua Fighter series. VF hasn't had any new VF title appear on a Nintendo console. Virtua Quest doesn't count, because it's a spin-off, and neither does Virtua Fighter 2 (MD/Genesis) on the Virtual Console, because it's a port. I used to have Virtua Fighter for the Sega Saturn and kind of enjoyed it, but sold mine and my brother's Saturn gear, due to Nintendo being more reliable. Nowadays, despite hoping for the VF series to succeed over every other 3D fighting games and franchises, it's difficult for me to feel like playing them, because I'm not sure if it will be a waste of time or not for me. The Nintendo 3DS system update today was pretty interesting. What I dislike was the lack of Adobe Flash support for its Internet browser, but that fine, I understand that websites heavily-filled with them can slow it down and drain battery life. For its 3D Classics: Excitebike developed by Arika, some parts from the original NES version are missing, like the sound effect when you add a hill or something else on the track in Design Mode, and the different versions of the title screen music (you know, the ones heard when you hit the reset button). It's nice to hear the portable handheld libraries being planned for release on the 3DS Virtual Console. Other than the most popular titles, there has been a very large lack of love to the handheld systems of the past in its fan service, especially the ones that competed against the Game Boy and its successors. While they said that the Game Boy, Game Gear and TurboGrafx-16 (TurboExpress) titles will be included, they might also need to include titles from other handhelds if possible. From the Milton Bradley Microvision to the Atari Lynx to the NeoGeo Pocket titles. I'm not sure about the Virtual Boy nor Pokemon mini titles. Not only because the Virtual Boy failed, but the 3DS doesn't look like it has enough buttons. The Pokemon mini is more of a novelty than a major handheld system. Now for the most interesting thing I heard in my opinion, the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for both the 3DS and WiiU. I will do my best to avoid causing a spamfest of "You're stupid! No! You're stupid!" arguments. Don't remember what else I saw other than Super Fossil Fighters being announced for release worldwide, but the 3DS and WiiU might be causing Nintendo and TOSE to work on the next title in The Legendary Starfy series.

I wasn't really blown away, but I certainly did not come away from the conference disappointed. In fact, I think I like it even more in retrospect. I think the thing is that Nintendo has (as they always have) reinvented the controller for their new console, and like with the Wii, it's easy to see the potential, but (like with the Wii) Nintendo didn't show any non-demo software to back up that potential. I think that makes people wary. The reveal of LEGO City Stories almost seemed like an inside joke, as in "here's our revolutionary new game console, and we promise to support the core, and here's a LEGO game!" And the punchline being the subsequent montage of third-party testimonials and announcements of several hardcore, HD games. EDIT: Speaking of tech specs, apparently the Wii U could win on Jeopardy!

I'm not exactly disappointed with Wii U, and if anything, I'd say it's too early to comment on it.
Unlike Wii, which plays most GameCube games other than the one that uses the dial-up connector (Phantasy Star Online) LAN adaptor (Mario Kart Double Dash, Kirby Air Ride) and the hi-speed port (Game Boy Player), Wii U doesn't play games of the older system - not in my standard, at least. If doesn't have any form of GC support, and Nintendo has just shown that they can't do data transfer properly.
This means that without games on it, I can't really comment on the system at all, as I won't be using it to play the old games. The control pad does look silly though, and it is based on the Classic Controller.
We'll see in E3 2012. Right now I'm most interested in the games shown for 3DS, DS adn Wii.

And the punchline being the subsequent montage of third-party testimonials and announcements of several hardcore, HD games. Oh, I forgot about that! I used to be a LEGO fan so large, I use to have a room full of them, until I had to move from my mother to my father after me and my brother were withdrawn from middle school after they heard we were going from our home in one county to a school in another county. The LEGO room was destroyed, while they kept some that were too girly in their opinion, but was added as part of the beach section. However, my brother's pirate ship and some of our train sets survived, due to being elsewhere. Nowadays, the LEGO Train series is my favorite; however, I don't play LEGOs as much as I used to. I almost don't play with them at all. But LEGOs were one of the things that made me gain interest in creating and building Wikipedia articles. If all of this is "tl;dr", then just read this: I once wished Nintendo and LEGO to collaborate with each other, but now, I don't give a "you know what".

What I thought . . .
- It seemed surprising they were promoting Starfox 64 considering there nothing really new in it. Though hearing "do a barrel roll!" during the footage was great to hear. - Mario Kart 3D looked nice, it will be interested to see what gameplay changes the new air/underwater karts do. Also the return of coins! - Super Mario 3D, looks "simple", looks different to the other 3D Mario games, but I could understand how 3D depth could possibly help in gameplay. While tail/spin attack of raccoon/tanuki mario just seems to help on overall combat, by increasing Mario's attack area. - Kid Icarus looked incredible, multiplayer looked good and I want to know more about the AR card features though. (are they bundled or sold separately?)
Was expecting them to show more 3DS games, though LM2 looked good. Also what happened to all the 3rd parties who signed on last year, shouldn't we be seeing Persona 3DS by now?
EDIT: Here's two new Nintendo eShop games. Rolling Western looks awesome. Picture lives looks very . . . unique.
Wii U was nice and seems to reinforce Nintendo as "the champions of local multiplayer gaming content" and partially seems like a revival of GBA-GCN connectivity.
The name Wii U seems to be getting sort of a negative response, for still using the Wii name, but does anyone not forget the NES to SNES?
3rd parties with Wii U sound good, and it's nice to hear Batman AC, Battlefield 3 and Alien: Colonial marines (please use the controller as a motion tracker!)
I assume we will get more details on launch info nearer the launch. I feel slightly disappointed in that Pikmin 3 wasn't shown.
LEGO game being announced seemed kind of strange, but I want to hear more info first.
The 25th anniversary Zelda celebration sounds awesome, (Four Swords returns for free!!! YAY!!!!) but seems odd they didn't do anything like this for Mario last year . . .
