Interesting. So this confirms the Game Boy version of X as the first game with Totaka's song. No need to look in earlier games. That said, in an age where everything is datamined to the bottom, it's not like we wouldn't have known.

Pikmin 2 has resulted in another Totaka's Song cameo.
First enter a cave, unplug the memory card and then wait at the save screen for 4 minutes.

I always wonder how are these not found earlier, since I thought most games have music directly extracted from the game data uploaded?
