Never been a Bayonetta fan but I was still taken by surprise by this. I don't believe it will stay as a Wii U exclusive forever but still, I didn't see this one coming. Kudos Ninty. It is exclusive, it's being published by NintendoI know, just doubt that it won't ever jump to PS3 (or 4) and 360 (or 720) in the future. I was also unsure at first whatever Sega still owned the rights to the IP but the SEGA logo still appears in the Bayonetta 2 trailer and according to the company's Twitter, they are serving as an advisor to the game. Its hilarious watching the rage of the Sony and Mircosoft fans, lol. Platinum's other Wii U exclusive Project P-100 has been renamed "The Wonderful 101." Ahh, first time I see a game developed by Platinum that actually interest me, this looks very fun, its like Viewtiful Joe meets Pikmin. I will keep an eye on this for sure.

Its hilarious watching the rage of the Sony and Mircosoft fans, lol. The best part is there's more! Pictures of angry twitter users (and a death threat) gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=185428Gamefaq petition (to bring to PS3/360 www.gamefaqs.com/boards/946345-bayonetta/64037220As the video pointed out, if it weren't for Nintendo, we wouldn't even have Bayonetta 2, but it is easy to understand the anger at having to buy another console to play a sequal to a game you want but than people would complain at Nintendo for not securing more hardcore exclusive games . . .
Also here's a nice Wii U game montage.

When Platinum first pitched the idea, Sega rejected it because they thought that it would cost them too much money. That's where Nintendo stepped in and financed the game. This deal goes beyond just marketing and distribution, without Nintendo, Bayonetta 2 would just be a rejected developer pitch.

As the video pointed out, if it weren't for Nintendo, we wouldn't even have Bayonetta 2, but it is easy to understand the anger at having to buy another console to play a sequal to a game you want but than people would complain at Nintendo for not securing more hardcore exclusive games . . . I doubt there would be as much vitriol if the game were announced for an Xbox 720 or PS4. They'd still have to buy a new system, but I don't see anyone making death threats under that circumstance. This is purely a fanboy thing. As Shakespeare once wrote: The Internet's but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more: it is a tale Told by a bunch of idiots, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing. Er, I'm paraphrasing a little.

A quick note about Bayonetta 2. I sent Kamiya a twee t last night asking him if Nintendo producers were working on the game, and he confirmed it. Basically this nukes any chance of the game being ported to other consoles in the future.
