Seeing as how Silicon Knights is currently owned by Microsoft, no. No there will not be another Eternal Darkness. Actually Microsoft doesn't own SK, thay are still independent and Nintendo still has stock in the company, and they have access to Wii U dev kits. It's not impossible. Also the whole Valve/Nintendo talk, it's also not impossible, but lots of us just want to see the two companies finally working together. Shit, I don't expect Valve to be like "Ep 3 coming to Wii U launch!" all I want to hear is something like "Valve has also started working with our Wii U dev kits" and maybe a video montage with a whole bunch of developers (like previous years) with Gabe in it.

Lets get two Nintendo franchises that aren't doing so well and combine them together! That'll make 'em sell even more right? Star Fox's depressing situation is that only one of its five games matters the most. Hell, if we couldn't get a single Wii game in the series, I doubt we'll get more than one Wii U game.

Valve and Nintendo working together would only work if the Wii U was graphically on par with next-gen systems, which would never happen. Also related: Valve offering old NES games (like with old Sega games!)
However, that would reek of defeat.
In all seriousness, though: Wii U is gonna rock, or it's gonna suck, and I'm leaning toward the latter.

Just a reminder for those judging Nintendo's online plans, there will be retail released games offered digitally on the 3DS (NSMB2 being the first) and Wii U (at launch) and Nintendo online infrastructure is being dramatically improved over the current one with accounts and also DLC.(but then again any addition to the current one . . . would constitute as an improvement). And don't forget about the kooky NFC tech (sort of like the Spyro the Dragon Skylanders games) as seen in the leaked early dev Rayman Legends Wii U trailer. This tech could also be used for credit card/point cards for payment transfer. Also Nintendo will probably show of the new LEGO City Stories game, since they are publishing it. (supposely it a open world LEGO game). Finally E3 time sheet (From NeoGAF's wonderful E3 thread)(Ah . . . getting up at before 4:00 AM . . . again).

Okay, the forum seems to be in a extreme stage of "deadness". . . Just wondering, it appears we could just use Chatango NinDB*, for E3 live chatting like we did last year. nindb.chatango.com/*Set up by The Qu last year. Also link to Nintendo's E3 page (for live stream of press conference) e3.nintendo.com/And also Nintendo also has two other presentations: Developer discussion with Wii U hardware producer Katsuya Eguchi Tuesday, June 5, 11:30 PM PT Software Showcase Wednesday, June 6, 06:00 PM PT

I won't be able to watch the E3 stream live this time. Switched jobs a few weeks ago, so I'm unable to ask for a day off or vacation Has no one considered a new 3DS model announcement? Some did in the 2012 prediction thread

I really hope that they rename the Wii U, seriously. That, and show a demo of Pikmin 3.

WiiU is basically 100% confirmed to be called WiiU. I, too, agree the name should have been changed - even a simple Nintendo U would have seemed a much smarter option than the rather ambiguous is-it-a-new-console-or-just-a-new-design WiiU name.

Wii U exclusives from Ubisoft
Zombi U (the zombie game from yesterdays Nintendo Direct) and supposedly an evolution of the Freaks from Outer Space game of last year. (no gameplay in the trailer).
Rayman Legends footage! Has 5 player support!

you're shitting me. The Zombie game from yesterrday was real? My friends and I were making the jokes during the conference, but I don't think any of us actually expected that to be it.
Also, Rayman Legends looks boss as hell. Like, it's straight up true final boss on super hard mode for the true ending level of boss.

Rayman Legends looks very nice, and is a great exclusive, too. Made me consider the hardware.
So far, I've really dug the new Tomb Raider (Lara looks like a believable human being!), Dead Space 3, Resident Evil 6, Rayman Legends, and Watch Dogs. Also liked Farcry 3 (that is wacky shit, mang), Assassin's Creed III and the new Metal of Honor.
Looking forward to tomorrow!

The South Park game also looks hella awesome. It'll apparently have gameplay similar to Paper Mario.

AC3, Splinter Cell and Farycry 3 all look great too. Farycry surprised me, frankly. I wasn't thinking too much of it til that trailer. Tomb Raider I've been looking foreword too for a while.
