Because I'm going through a bit of a third-party drawing phase at the moment, I'm going to use your collective brains to help me decide who should be included in the lineup. I may do this when I move on to other companies too! The rules:1. Pick your top 10 Namco characters. The order doesn't matter. 2. If the game isn't named after them, make sure to include the name of the game/series as well. 3. You may only pick ONE character per series in your list. 4. It doesn't have to be the main character, but it's more likely to be drawn if it's at least one of the leading stars. 5. If certain characters get lots of votes, I shall draw them up. Remember, you don't have to love the games, or even to have played them. They just have to be your favourite or most interesting characters or character designs. Need inspiration? Okay! My personal favourites, then...
1. Pac-Man
2. The Prince (Katamari)
3. Klonoa
4. Mr. Driller
5. Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia)
6. Nightmare (Soul Calibur)
7. Mappy
8. Heihachi (Tekken)
...That seems to be one from every Namco series I've played, so you only get 8 from me.

One of the less known characters who appeals to me is Akio from Chocovaders: Invaders from Beyond.  From what I'm aware, Namco owns a proportion of the IP. Torchickens, I can't accept any series that don't belong to Namco. From what I can tell, the series/toys are owned by Tomy and Namco made the games. It's a shame, but I culled Yu-Gi-Oh from the Konami list for the same reason. Keep it coming guys! Try and pick 10 if you can. Remember, you don't need to have played the games to pick the characters!  I'm just putting something together for this that might help... |

Edited the first post with a link to characters selected alongside official artwork and number of votes cast. I ask that if you can't come up with 10, just pick some from that list that you'd like me to draw. I will try and keep it up to date with new suggestions and votes. Looks like Klonoa is next on the list! |

Hell yes more all stars goodness. Do they still have to be on Nintendo systems though? Not at all! Anything from their library is good (so long as it's not licensed from a TV show/movie whatever). I shall update the chart! |

I notice that you added Tarosuke from Shadowland. I didn't realise that there were two Namco characters on that Genji and the Heiki Clans picture, so I didn't mean to vote for him, but I'm happy to take it as a vote. 8bitretroshit also voted for Wagan before I posted, so Wagan actually has two votes. Finally, may I ask how you whitened the background for the ghosts in Golly! Ghost? |
