New 6 minute Super Mario 3D World trailer:
Those collectible stamps remind of these actual Super Mario stamps I got as a kid! Don't think those were blue and yellow though.

The opening scene. Much like a lot of other places in the game, this scene pays a lot of attention to details. Things I've noticed so far:
- Mario and Luigi did plumbing. I read from somewhere long ago that Mario and Luigi are adept at using the hammer and spanner respectively, and here they use both. Probably just a coincidence though. - When Bowser showed up, Peach, Luigi and Toad look traumatized, and Mario attempts to shield Peach. - Luigi gets that scared face again as Bowser re-enters the pipe. - Then Peach tries to investigate (despite being a frequent target herself) and slips off. Mario and Toad followed, and Luigi needs to build up a bit before following.
The whole thing is in-line with their existing traits. Mario is the most heroic of the group, Peach is selfless (yet reckless) and puts herself in dangers, Toad is timid but would do anything for Peach, and Luigi is comical.
EDIT - Replaced video with an Italian clip that contains the complete opening. This one also shows gameplay and stage transitions.

It, um, looks great. This would have sold the Wii U to me, if not for the fact that I'm physically unable to. Don't think I'll pay all those extra just to import a Japanese Wii U (I love Japan-only games) and HDMI-to-PC hardware.

I've been waiting for this vid for so long: the final secret world! Finally someone got to upload it, with no initial powerups, and taking no damage. Here it is (SPOILERS): www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTZIKKVS03oIt feels easy if you being in the powerups, but without them, it's a nightmare to do. It doesn't requirenon-platforming skills like in the SMG2 final level, but on pure platforming skills, this one looks more difficult.

For a long time, I've wanted to hear about what TEi's thoughts on this game are, and the idea of Peach being fully playable in a Mario game like this.
In the event that he does have a Wii U with this game, I bet he's probably played the whole thing as only her?
