#6 - NightsFirst appearance: Nights into Dreams... (Saturn, 1996) Most recent: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (multi-platform, 2012) Tried something a little more challenging this time, but I don't think it came out that great.

#2 Redux - ChuChuFirst appearance: ChuChu Rocket! (Dreamcast, 1999) Most recent: Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (multi-platform, 2010) Since I beat myself up over the last time I tried to draw ChuChus, I decided to take another shot at it. I'm more satisfied with how it came out this time, even if it doesn't look dramatically different.

Hmm.....
This is the kind of character that I'd use vector tools to draw digitally. The lines look weird as is.

That's because I draw everything with pencil on paper and then scan it, so the lines always look kinda "wobbly."

But didn't you ink it digitally?
Do you have a pre-made list of characters to draw, perchance? Or do you just go with whoever you feel like at thetime?

I manipulate it to solidify the lines and clean up some of the junk, but the messiness of my pencil strokes always seems to stay. I don't think I have a program with vector tools unless it's some part of GIMP I don't know about.
I've been considering getting that Art Academy: Sketchpad thing on Wii U, but you can't really export images from it.
Originally, I made a list of characters, but now I just draw whatever I feel like at the time. It's probably better if I work on whatever I'm motivated to. But I do have a mental list that I'm kinda working through.
Actually, I might try drawing the next character completely digitally, but I'm not sure yet.
