 Yes, this is actually happening. A new character revealed on a Monday live stream (14/7). I'll admit I did think about posting this in the main Smash thread, but I thought it might just get buried in there. |

Uh-oh... nearing the bottom of the stash of newcomer videos... judging by the wording, I wonder if it means that the remaining newcomers who will be available in the game will have videos... and that any other newcomers who might be available via DLC won't get videos?
I would be surprised if the newcomer is NOT Shulk, Chrom, or the Glee Club kids from Rhythm Heaven. Either way, I can't wait for Monday to come!

I hope it blows my mind more than seeing Brazil lose 7-1.
The wording worries me a bit, actually (checked the JP version; the translation's accurate). What do they mean, reaching the end of the videos? Does that mean no more newcomers? Hidden newcomers won't have videos?
I'm not expecting particularly anyone, but please be anyone outside of that notorious leak. If that leak's true, we know them already and the announcement will hold little surprise.

Lucina seems to be a skin for Marth and Chrom is in Robin's Final Smash. At least, I *think*.

I'm glad not only because they're there, but also because it ends all those "which FE13 charactershould be in this game" debates. Personally, I want Robin > Lucina > Chrom (since FE magic had little screentime in Smash before), so this fits my want so well. |

Okay, I'll admit it looks like Lucina, Falcon and Robin (M/F) with Chrom only appearing in the latter Final Smash.
By Book, Blade, and Crest of Flame

Lucina is the first newcomer without an art piece on the character page, so there's more evidence towards her not being her own slot.

Lucina seems unnecessary to me considering we already have Marth, Ike, and Robin... Lucina failed to wow me when her moves look like Marth's? But I'm glad with Robin and Captain Falcon.
I also don't see a significant difference between male and female Robins besides hair length... so it seemed silly that they are just model hair swaps.
