Haven't done this in a while! So basically, this is a place where you can post links of cool stuff you've found on the net and would like to share. First up, a Rube Goldberg machine (I love these things), and its Zelda themed! www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7CcbfBX07cIt's for a school project, so the guy explaining stuff talks a bit like a science essay, but its pretty cool!

Since this is off topic, I will share with you my favorite Newgrounds flash movie of all time. It does help if you're familiar with Silent Hill 2, but it's a riot. There's a bit of blood and mild language, but nothing too bad. www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/334798

OK, today here's some webcomics that need more recognition: Daily Dinosaur Comicwww.qwantz.com/archive/001072.htmlIts the same comic, the same panels of a T-rex stomping a house etc EVERY DAY, but the words change every time and its still one of the FUNNIEST webcomics ever! It manages to stay fresh every time, that's how good the writing is! Conversations between T-Rex and God and T-Rex's continuing love problems with Dromiceiomimus are just some the hilights. And from a link from there, I found Isotownwww.isotown.net/index.phpA small pixellated town in the style of Simcity, each panel shows a step in the towns growth (scaffolding goes up, a planted tree starts to sprout), but the little stories that go along with the panels give the town great personality. For example, recently a shop and a house were being built next to each other, and it became a race to see who would finish first. The house team used dirty tactics like vandalism, but the shop team refused to retaliate and managed to win anyway! Recommended for people who have a lot of patience. Start at the beginning of the archive.

Slackerz is awesome as far as webcomics go. It's currently on break, though. Oh, and Trial Tribulations, a Phoenix Wright sprite comic. There may only be four comics so far, but it's off to a good start.

That Bitey Castle is awesome! Very atmospheric! OK, animation sites: Homestar runnerMost of you have probably heard of this one, its quite a popular one. www.homestarrunner.comBasically, its a series of Flash animations about a group of odd characters. Homestar is meant to be the main character, but his antagonist Strong Bad is much more popular, and has a regularly updated show on his own section of the site. Real people email him with questions, which he answers comically. The site also supports a number of secondary series, usually involving characters invented or imagined by Strong Bad in his show. Its slightly american, but nothing is too confusing for us Johnny Foreigners! And it's hilarious! Weebl's StuffNow here's a good one. It's like the ruder, madder British cousin of the Homestar website! www.weebls-stuff.comBasically, the guys just chuck out crazy animations all the time (usually musical), and sometimes the more understandable ones (with a plot and everything!) become series's. The flagship series is of course Weebl and Bob, about two egg shaped guys hanging out and trying to obtain pie. They love pie. Check out their song parodies - Justin Timberlake's Sexy Back becomes the hilarious "I'm bringing Pastry back!" Also, there's a series about a guy who stabs people, one about a Lord who dabbles in drugs with amusing effects, and On The Moon with a slice of toast (the king of the moon) and his neighbor, Insanity Prawn Boy.
