I remember playing through SMS, in one of those "secret" levels - I think it was the one in the Noki Bay where it's particularly difficult - I tried that about 30 times before I got it, and became SO frustrated that I threw my controller at the wall...
The cord wasn't long enough, so it came out and pulled the console off the shelf and onto the floor...
Some games make me so angry... but then you beat them and feel a bit better - especially if you managed NOT to break anything in the process...

The worst I do is squeeze the controller. Now, hurting myself is different. Sometimes I'll hit my leg with my fist. But as I've become older I've become better at controlling my anger.

New Spine Tingling moment for me!
When I went to Best Buy today, I saw that they finally had the demo disc that contained Pikmin 2!
Seeing as I can hardly wait anymore for Pikmin goodness, I decided to try my hand at 1 of the 5 challenge courses offered.
Starting the game made me so happy...

I never ever take out my anger on a videogame console or its peripherals. I've seen people destroy many a good controller by being careless like that. Some people even seem to think that throwing the controller at the TV is a way of life for gamers. Not so.
I realise that the game is there to stop me getting to the end. If the game is unfair then I grow to resent the game, and my fire glows hotter, which just makes me want to beat it all the more.
Like a perpetual motion machine!
But when it goes too far, when the game shows signs of consistently poor design and programming then I just stop playing it. If the designers are going to be that lazy, then I shan't give them the time of day!
Anyone caught throwing my controllers will get a slap! They're expensive, dontcha know!

Yeah. Myself, if I feel that I'm getting nowhere, I'll stop playing and pick it up again some other time. I get sloppy when I'm frustrated, so I know that to waste my time trying will get me nowhere.

I used to throw controllers, but I stopped it when I realzied they weren't as strong as they were made out to be. I threw my favorite Green N64 controller, and it just stopped functioning after that...
Besides, throwing controllers is stupid. Throwing it only makes your problem worse.

I once asked my brother why he had the words "DO NOT SPIKE" written on the top of his N64 controller.
Apparently, his friends used to spike their controllers like volley balls if they lost at Goldeneye.

I can see the error in my ways... Anyways... I've never broken anything. That's good, I guess.

Got the last star now! Just time wasting doing side-stuff in Rougeport trying to make the game last longer before the inevitable last bit. I'll miss this game when its over

Yeah, I also did that before playing the last part of the game... I'll miss this game when its over Don't worry, there's still plenty of cool stuff to do after you beat the game Unless you already solved all the troubles, found all the badges and cooked every recipe

Bah, I STILL need to beat the last boss on that game... it's been sitting there waiting to be done since around Christmas. Same with Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, except I've been on that last boss since LAST Christmas... But I have SM64DS now, and I'm already chugging my way through that. Gah, the endless supply of games is driving me crazy!

I beat the final boss of PM2 on my first try... but then my GameCube did that 'Error occurred' thing and I had to do it again. Grrrrr...
