Can you really? Is it actually possible to switch controls over like that? Well, I read that you could for Metroid Prime:Hunters. But as for other games I just assume they will do it to. I'll try to find were I read this... www.gamedaily.com/e3/article.asp?articleid=5568§ionid=15Well, that's not where I originally read it, but it's there.

Ah, great Anyway, back on topic: something I'd like to see in SSB3 is that Pokémon level from SSB on the N64. That was my favourite level

Hm, speaking of the DS' controls... I think left-handed people might have some problems controlling games like Metroid Prime Hunters, where you walk with direction pad and look around with the stylus pen... Why? I'm left-handed myself, and I'm not used to holding a pen in my right hand, so I think it'd be quite hard for me to move and look around at the same time in the game. Other left-handed people will probably have this problem too... I could be wrong though, maybe it's not that bad, or you'll just get used to it ya im lefty but it would b kinda cool if they came out with a left handed D.S , but the down side is it would b changin my whole playing style

It's not coming out in left-and-right handed versions, it's just going to use the four buttons (in a cross shape) as an alternative to the control pad if you wish it. And now that I've seen more of the design of it, I can see how it might be possible. Thanks guys The Silph Co. building was much better than the two Pokemon levels in SSBM, but I'd much rather see a more up-to-date one based on a similar style.

I'd like to get rid of all clone characters save for Ganondorf (just a different move set for him). Marth can stay, but Roy should go. Luigi also stays as there are a few more differences than simply stat changes. Pichu goes while Pikachu stays (as Pikachu is vastly more popular). Dr. Mario should simply become a secret costume change rather than a stand-alone character. Young Link and Link should be consolidated into one character (perhaps an occasional fire arrow?).
Characters that I think should be added to the mix are:
Olimar (with his own special controls for his slave Pikmin) Meta Knight King Dedede Ridley Samurai Goroh A CO from the latest Wars game (at the time) Lord/Lady of the latest Fire Emblem game (at the time) Ray from Custom Robo (along with a wee-bit of customization you can do through collecting parts in one player mode) Wario Birdo
I'd like the single player adventure mode to be beefed up a little, perhaps with even a good plot to drive it forward (yea, it'd be odd, but I'd like it anyhoo). I also think that some form of compatibility with the Animal Crossing of the time should be implemented. Perhaps one battle stage takes place in the Animal Crossing town saved on the harddrive/memory card? That way each town would be somewhat unique.

Blah! Anything but Birdo!! I mean... what moves could Birdo have? Spit eggs? Spit fireballs? move backwards and forwards a little bit? Drop a crystal ball? Make a daft "Wa-woo" noise? I think your list is in danger of creating even more clones than you realise. Dedede has very few attacks that Kirby doesn't have, Meta-Knight would over-egg the sword-fighting pudding, any other Fire Emblem characters would just replace Roy as Marth's clone, and Birdo would end up being a Yoshi clone (and frankly we don't need more than one)... I'd quite like to see Andy from Advance Wars in SSB though.

I don't mind clones. (Except for ones that are characters that are already in the game: Dr. Mario, Pichu, and Y. Link) But in SSB3 I hope they change the "good" clones(Ganondorf, Falco, Roy) to be a bit more different(Except Ganondorf, who needs to be completely changed). Like they did with Luigi from SSB to SSBM(Although SSB Luigi and Mario had more differenences then most/all of the clones in SSBM).
EDIT:Also, they could think up stuff for Birdo. Look at Popo & Nana, Captian Falcon, Fox McCloud, and others.

Items:
Smart Bomb from Star Fox 64: Lylat Wars once you pick up you can try to lock up one of your opponents and create a big explosion to knock those suckers out of the ring.
Magic Rod for Legend of Zelda, you can use this rod to burn your opponents way stronger than a Fire Flower. You can also tilt it to make a powerful sonic-boom.
Djiin (Golden Sun: The Broken Seal) Once you use Djiin you will automatically summoned 4 powerful elemental spirits to smash all of opponents with one smash, that will be sick.

Sure did! I imagine that was the point. I also suspect that the Fourside stage may have once been an idea for a Perfect Dark stage, going by early screenshots. Not too hard to make the transition.

Hey, I was just looking at the new cameo page for Super Smash Bros., and I noticed the Hyrule Castle level... It made me remember that was one of my favourite levels too, so that's something I'd like to see in SSB3 too
