I'm with TrustTheFungus on this one - in WW Tingle was cartoony and tolerable, but the MM version... (I dreaded having to talk to him to buy maps!) And so, a realistic version... I mean, can you imagine a realistic version? *shudders* Wait...I never said that. I think you mean kirbychu. |

Fear not, for Tingle's hilarious voice will forever live on in our minds! Or something.
Maybe he's just taking a much needed break for this game, ready for The Legend of Zelda DS: Fairy of Maps, in which Link is kidnapped and Tingle must... fly around and... drop bombs, stealing all my money in the process! That bastard!

DiU is right! No more Ankle, Knuckle and David Jr!! Were they kidnapped by Tingle and forced to become like him or something? I was never sure of that. That would be a truly creepy turn of events.

Might as well share it... if there's one thing this topic has shown it's that you either love Tingle or you hate him. Middle-aged wannabe-fairy-men in green body socks tend to have that effect on people.

Question though - you know in MM how we meet Tingle, and there's that big guy who owns the archery range down at the swamp area - he talks about his son being 30 and wanting to be a fairy... am I remembering correctly? Is he Tingle's father? Or have I some how made up a whole scenario in my head?  |

Well... it's the beardy man in the boat rental place who judges your photos, but yes, he does claim to be Tingle's father. But maybe it's a family business... remember one of the witches also lives in his shack... and if you crossed their genes you could very well end up with a Tingle. |
