I've been doing a couple of research on the Wii, and i particlarly found something interesting. No ,I do not promote hacking (Nintendo anyway), and found this: A sad day was upon us. UPDATEquote fromWiiBrew: Bushing has already announced a workaround (link temporarily not working) after just 6-8 hours of work! Big thanks to all involved! (Note that the workaround is not yet available publicly) The June 16th update (v3.3) has been reported to delete Twilight Hack, however, it does not seem to do anything to the Homebew Channel yet. Users are advised not to update until more information is known. Because unauthorized modifications to save files may impair game play or the Wii console, updating to Wii Menu version 3.3 will also check for and automatically remove such save files. Q & A It says the UPDATE removes any edited save files… can you just recopy the twilight princess hack again? Nope, you can’t, it won’t let you copy any edited file. Will it delete Homebrew Channel? No, it won’t delete it. Is Homebrew Channel still working? Some people say yes. Do you have an estimate on how long it may take till I could update? Just don’t update if you don’t want to. Well guys we won’t be FORCED to update till we want to play the next BIG game on the Wii right? The update isn’t critical at this time. So for those Nintedo Wii hackers out there. Dont update your Wii, nintendo is fighting back.. I thought they would have done this a long time ago. www.nes-hacks.com/new-wii-firmware-breaks-twilight-hack-trucha-signer/363/]HERE

I actually would like the Brawl system if it weren't for tripping. Compared to Brawl, Melee feels like it WAS a rushed product. Oh yeah, i certainly agree on that, especially with Brawl having wonderful soundtracks and a full length story mode, I was just refering to the gameplay, a flow of battle

What I would like to have in the next smash brawl? , Since we all see characters and features listed above, how about gameplay?
I would want the gameplay of Melee, why is that?, It's because after the jump from Melee to Brawl the gameplay was awfully slow, the the way characters moved from one frame to another were not as fast paced as Melee, I'm guessing the reason for this is Nintendo catering for the general audience ( the non-pro's / non addicts) AGAIN....
additionally, for me Brawl doesn't have that competitive factor ( I usually compete with my friends who most of em, use high tier characters while i try using bowser, to at least make it fun or what not, but thats another story) melee does, as for the wave dashing and etc, thats up to to anyone to decide. ( if it's in or not, id doesn't matter to me)

No Rosalina is a shocker, but the beefed up DK rep is amazing. Now we just need Wario characters to start appearing! Holy crap, totally agree on that one, plus awesome that K rool is in! ( yeah just read this post now)

Awesome, thanks for the heads up!, but whats your opinion on Wii hacking, personally I'm distasteful towards this, but I'm just curious what it can do?

Reply to SAMaine:
well yeah, they also made a 3d model for Mona in Mega Party Game$ although obviously not as good as Kat and Ana's brawl models, and yeah, I'm hoping alright that they come in any of the left over titles.

After months of constantly borrowing my friends wii, today i just got my very own Wii!! ;D but enough about that. So I have a Wii now, i just wanted to ask, what good stuff can I use it for, besides from gaming of course. Meaning, what channels are good, what updates should i get ( should i update at all), and if you guys believe on Wii hacking ( sounds fishy to me), and other important stuff a new wii owner should know. What about VC, any info and details?, good games perhaps? I didn't bother learning these important things because my friend usually took care of those minor details, but since i got one of my own, i have to fend for myself now, so can any of you guys help me out here? advice, tips?
