God I hope not.
We really don't need any more transforming characters at all (unless their transformation method is really unique), let alone one that really makes no sense.
Well, thats my two cents, anyway.

Hey Fry, here's a nice clear screeny of that much debated flag for you: On the right hand side there. Oh, and it looks like Pit is doing the equivalent of an "up-B" attack here.

Oh, and here's a shot of that altar from the same arena (not very distinguishing, though) On the left, just above his tail.

Thanks... I was going to upload a screen, but I guess I don't have to now.
And you can't image link from IGN.

I'm probably the only guy who wants Professor Hector in playable. I can see him throwing dynamite...gyromite.... getting people bit with his experimental Smick, and riding a hovering robot that looks almost exactly like the Robotic Operating Buddy.
I love ROB.

Absolutely not. I have been a supporter of the ROB/Hector in SSB since before SSBM's full cast was known.
I picture Hector riding ROB using critters and items from the games, and maybe even other NES hardware, like the Zapper. Swish!!

For a moment there I thought you were replying to yourself. Damn avatars. ROB? Bah. For pointless nostalgia, Captain N is where its at. Don't even try to deny it.

*denies it*
I want to see a Tetrimino characters. Like some huge hulking rock golem composed of tiny Tetris blocks. Whenever he gets hit, tiny little blocks fly off him.

I sent them a message saying I want alternate costumes, but I also told them I'm American. Do you think they'll discount my opinion or just say that I'm really hard-core? I didn't bother lying about not being Japanese because I used Babel-Fish to translate my message.

Personaly I think no characters from the previous SSB games should be left out (including the clones). The clones were just to allow players to check out differences that suited playing style, just like any other character. Some like the speed of Captin Falcon, but someone who likes his style of moves but likes more power might prefer Ganondorf. And if your going to say "x character should not be in because they are a clone"Remember that this is a NEW game. They could easily make every character very different from any other character.(But maybe they should make Pichu not so...self destructive...)

I wonder when this game will be finished I say on the Japaness site there was an application for the project which ends in June. So this means from Dec. to now the've not had there max. number of people. It seems that production can now go faster as they have more people then they had at the beginjing. However we dont know how many people there had throught this project nor do we really know how far they really got. We could also assum that there using the same engine since the characters changed between SSBM and SSBB, and that all the old characters are exactly the same. This game could come out in March like Hunters, but if it gets pushed to far Nintendo might just relese it in the holidays for marketing. I really hope we get this game soon.

At the moment, assume it'll be out in the first 6 months of the Wii's lifespan, sometime in 2007. I really don't want them to keep characters just because they chose to use them before. The clones were actually created because with the space they had left during production they couldn't create any more completely new characters, but they could make derivative "clone" characters. It would be pointless to keep them for the sake of keeping them. Sure, if they suddenly find they can create 50 characters then they can keep them... but I doubt that's the case. Keeping some characters would mean that other, more worthy or interesting characters would be left out. My thoughts on each clone: - Roy was excellent, but he was a marketing tool for a mid-series Fire Emblem game that never got released outside of Japan.
- Dr. Mario was fun for five minutes, but he added nothing to the game aside from the Dr. Mario music.
- Pichu is awful, and if anyone tells you they like playing Pichu then they either lose a lot, or play against idiots.
- Falco's inclusion was nice for the fans, but did he really have to be there? If he gave back Fox's blaster then he could go into retirement.
- Ganondorf should appear, but given a unique moveset.
- Like Falco, I think Young Link should give old Link some of his moves back and go away.
Whatever they pick, everyone will end up being happy. Some people will grumble for a while, but eventually they will accept whatever is there, and will hopefully learn a thing or two about a series they didn't know about in the meantime.
