Yeah, but I said the same thing about Yoshi's Story... and that was a massive let-down in the "sequel" stakes.
But then you don't get much bigger fans of Yoshi's Island than me. Better than everything! It's even better than YOU!

Bah, its not better than me. That would require it to reach levels of awesomeness so ridiculous that they couldn't possibly be able to exist with causing existence and life itself to crumble and fall.
But remember, kiddies - if its half as good as Yoshi's Island, that means its miles better than most other games out there.

If it's half as good as Yoshi's Island, I would say it's roughly as good as New Super Mario Bros.
Of course, if it's as good as Yoshi's Universal Gravitation, Artoon's other Yoshi game, then it's roughly 0.000000001 times as good as Yoshi's Island. That game makes me cry inside.

Obviously YOU have never played Kao the Kangaroo I'll admit, it looks promising. Although I seriously doubt it will usurp YI as the best game ever. But it'd be nice if it more or less holds true to the game style. It comes out in the UK on the 1st December, so I shall be watching it with a very discerning eye. Perhaps more than usual.

Its hard for a game to beat the original.
Of course this game has promise.

If the original is really good of course. If it's bad it's easier

I was thinking about something after seeing that the helicopter transformation is back - whats the bet that each baby has their own Yoshi transfromation? Specifically Mario = Helicopter Peach = Train Wario = Car Bowser = Sub DK = Mole Tank
Bet you $10 thats what happens.

Haha, you're possibly right. But to be pernickity, I will bet AGAINST you, and say that the transformations are set just like before.
I also bet that you have to save Baby Luigi from the final boss, and that after completing the game, you can use Baby Luigi as well.

I also bet that you have to save Baby Luigi from the final boss, and that after completing the game, you can use Baby Luigi as well. I'll continue to hate this if this is the case. I want Luigi to be INITIALLY PLAYABLE, not as a secret character or an NPC!

I'll take that bet Fryguy and say that Luigi won't be playable!

The souls of my site visitors against yours. A very one-sided wager, wouldn't you say? Bwahahahaa!

My soul is not to be wagered with. But I'll lease it to you for $25 and three new video games (of my choosing) per week.
