Imagine about the:
Characters,
Courses,
Cups
in the new Mariokart. You may also think about new game modes.
Example: A normal Grand Prix and a Double Prix (2 characters as in Double Dash). Maybe a level editor (like in Diddy Kong Racing DS, but better (not a single Cloud-theme course...)!
Any other ideas, please?

I know most people would like to see a level editor/track design mode but I don't think that it will happen. But it's still to early to tell if that could happen or not. What I would like to see would at least be a battle mode track design. It would be a lot easier to implement than an race track design mode.
I would also like to see the emblem design from MKDS back in the game.

Which characters would you want to see in MK: Wii? Only the characters from the Mario-universe (mario, luigi, bowser, peach, toad, ...) or some othes too (like Link, Ganondorf and Capitain Falcon - which is especcially good in racing games!)?
Will there be a special item per character (as in MK: DD) or just normal items (like MK: DS)?
If there's an item per character, which item will Pikachu have? Or is a new item: pokéball enough?
Which courses do you want to see back in the game? (like in the Retro Grand Prix in MK: DS)
Are 4 cups enough (mariokart 64), do you want a All-cup tour (mariokart: double dash), or maybe just 8 cups, like in mariokart: DS?
In what era are we living??? (just say 16 cups! New cup names: Hyrule Cup, ...)
Just some questions to answer for inspiration...

I read somewhere that this Mario Kart will have 12 racers rather than 8...that's pretty cool!
I want to see more Mario characters in action....obviously Pauline (my favorite character), Geno, Mallow, and other major characters.

I'd like to see some really retro courses being based on SML/SML2. And NO Baby Park-esque tracks that take only a few seconds to complete one lap.

YES Baby Park esque courses. I love Baby Park. Its all me and my friends play, because it becomes completely balanced.

I do hope double riders return, even if it is optional. I thought that was brilliant, which is why I actually bought Double Dash!! despite having not bought a Mario Kart game since Super Mario Kart.
Alas, but there are some unbelievers who think Double Dash!! is shoddy.
