Today, announced at a conference is a remake of FE1 with enhancements from the new games. Marth is shown in his modern clothes and the weapon triangle is shown in effect. Even includes Wi-Fi play!   |

Hey, now that's pretty awesome! Although it probably means we won't be getting FE1 or FE3 on Virtual Console after all  Also, probably means Marth will still be in Brawl! Woo! Still, this is good stuff. I have no doubt at all that this will be translated and released in the West. |

Well, the modern mechanics will make 1+3 seem dated. So this is welcome to modernize the Akaneian saga.
I hope playable Jake and Gato return.

I was expecting them doing a remake, it was only a matter of time. Still awesome news because I'll finally be able to play the Fire Emblem featuring Marth.

Very cool. Fire Emblem is not my type of game so I will pass it up. But Marth looks really good.. maybe that's how Marth will look like in Brawl if he comes back.

This does look promising, hopefully there will be a bigger improvement with graphics over previous FE handheld games.

Is it? Well FE3 is Monsho no Naza, which is an expanded remake of FE1. So it makes sense to remake FE3.

This seems to be 1 but if it has 3 too then it's plain 3, and very cool. I want this badly now.
Also this may hint Marth's not gone from Brawl.

Of course, Fire Emblem 3 was ALSO a remake of Fire Emblem 1, and they AREN'T going to show us Book 2 right now are they?
