Why is it that main characters in Fire Emblem games always seem to have blue hair...
Marth, Ike, Lyn, that princess from Sacred Stones (as well as her brother I believe).

Lyn has green hair. Hector has blue though so you're proven right regardless. For that game anyways.
Erika and Epharim both have green hair though.

It;s probably becuase Blue is the good guys, and red bad. My guess is they did it so you'd know who was your dudes. Color was really a big tool back in the day.

Not really, since the sprites were always blue and red. When you played as Celicia in Gaiden she had a blue sprite but flaming red hair.

So does Celice (but he's his son). But Leaf has brown hair, Roy and Eliwood have red hair... it just varies. Blue's a common anime hair color, or at least to Intelligent Systems. They never really use normal colored hair for protagonists. Or that's what it feels like.

Blue's a common anime hair color because blue ink is cheaper than black ink.

Some interesting new online features have been announced for FEDS. There will be an online shop that you can buy items and rare items using money from the game. The second is the ability to "lease" your FE characters to other players online but you will still own that character you let another person use. Source.

Online shop sounds amazing, I can't wait to finally try out FE multiplayer. Almost did with FE7 but lost my copy. D:

Hmmm, some interesting ideas to say the least. Wonder if you get money for leasing. Or, how will you get money?

The game's out in Japan, now we wait to hear what Famitsu says. And for a press release confirming release in other countries.
Anyone else excited? I love Fire Emblem, not a huge fan of the genre but the story, characters, and music drag me in. Plus the OAV was awesome.

Not super excited as it's still a ways away. Oh, when it's out I'll love it. But now it's just there.

Well, I think Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (it's DS backwards!) is coming out in Europe this month. Nintendo has gone and released a "history of Fire Emblem video" I think it may also be on the Euro Nintendo channel. nl.youtube.com/watch?v=l3LelbrHXEc
