Sounds a lot like the Penny Racers/Choro Q game on the N64.

A trailer for Defend Your Castle has appeared on YouTube. 4 player co-op looks pretty epic.

LostWinds, World of Goo and Eternity's Child all look like they're pretty sweet - especially the last of the three, I'm really digging the gothic flavor to it. (And yes, children, there is a difference between 'emo' and 'gothic.' ) All three perk my interest more than the games on the first page, which mostly/entirely look like crap. I mean, five dollars for solitaire? I can buy a pack of cards for two dollars, and like Kohta said, it's free on the computer. I guess the only benefit comes if you're a pedophile and looking at young girls dressed as angels and devils gets you hard.
Now let's hear some information on Der Blob! That is the WiiWare title I'm looking the most forward to!

De Blob, not Der Blob. It's Dutch, not German :) If you're interested, you can download the game it's based on here.

de Blob is coming out on disk it's not coming to WiiWare (checked Wikipedia) and also found out you spell "de" in de Blob in lower case and that de Blob is also coming to the NDS.

Don't know about you guys, but Defend You Castle looks awesome. MAXIMUM AGREE! 100%! EDIT And... because people genuinely seem to be getting roused by it... the artwork in Eternity's Child makes it look like a really bad webcomic. It's pointed at a very particular web-savvy demographic, and I doubt the gameplay will live up to anybody's expectations. I say this now, as a prediction. Can't wait till it hits the US shores to prove me correct

I agree with Fry that Eternity's Child isn't that interesting, although I'm not as strong on the subject.
It has personality I suppose; I can see that in the characters. But none of it looks that interesting or unique. Defend your Castle and World of Goo have uniqueness in their design. They stand out and their design, but they also work without looking off or "stupid". Eternity's Child looks like something out of Deviant Art. Just the same old same old. Like any gothic web comic. SO RANDUM XD.

(And yes, children, there is a difference between 'emo' and 'gothic.' ) The Game is Gothic, The Creator Looks Emo (but isn't).

Some gameplay footage of Eternity's Child. Don't think it was posted yet. I don't like saying this but this game does not look fun at all. The level design looks like it's been ripped straight out of some shitty Flash game.

...Ew, it does. D: That's a massive disappointment.
If this guy made, like, stand-alone pictures or something, he'd be made of epic win. But the game doesn't seem to be working out very well, and it feels like the minute he'd progress into any more regular storytelling method, he'd kind of flop. That's kinda why I was psyched over the screenshots.

Wow, I can't believe it plays exactly as I imagined it would Yeah I had a feeling that this was going to happen. Though in defense we might have just been shown really unimpressive gamplay footage.

Quite unimpressive, but I'll wait for reviews.
NEWS FROM THE JAPAN LAUNCH Some of the games have notices that pop up while downloading, saying something like "some parts of this game may be downloaded seperately, but will cost you extra points" just to tell you if this game has any optional downloadable extras, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is one of the few!
Oh, and if you want to play Dr Mario online with a friend who hasn't downloaded a copy, just send him a temporary one (just like DS single-cart multiplayer)!
Early reviews say that Final Fantasy is looking good, with a lot of content for just 200 blocks of memory.
