Well, some new has come in saying that EC may go to the PS3 and Stean as well as WiiWare. It has also just been announced that there is a level editor in the game as well. "Well the level editor is basically going to allow players the same functions that I have had to create the levels, so they can do anything; spawn enemies everywhere, platforms etc... or even write curse words. And then I'll create a website where people can upload their levels and people can vote for which ones they prefer. They will probably do better levels than me." - Luc Bernard. Source. Also there has been a massive media blowout from the Nintendo Media Summit last week. So there are tons of aritcles on Wii, DS and WiiWare games. Hands on with six WiiWare titles.(FFCC, Lost Winds, Major League Eating, Pop, SBCG4AP and WoG). Major League Eating? I hope they get some newby sportscaster to do it just to make the experience real.

If Kobayashi isn't a playable character I will not buy that game. Don't think I'll buy the game anyway... Doesn't look interesting.

If Kobayashi isn't a playable character I will not buy that game. I doubt he is. If it had a celebrity endorsement it would be "Kobayashi's Major League Eating."

GASP! You mean the Wii can handle these next-gen concepts such as GRAPHICS?!
Reading these reviews made me laugh. They brought to mind that interview with Factor 5 a while ago who pointed out they were making better graphics at the launch of the Gamecube than most developers have bothered with the Wii. Despite the fact the Wii is a more powerful Gamecube, roughly capable of the same level of graphical capability as the original Xbox. Hell, the later games on PS2 looked awesome - remember Shadow of the Colossus?
Remember the old Xbox? Yes, that had (or still has) good graphics. Well, the Wii is roughly that capable. The fact we've had little other than endless ports and crappy party games doesn't mean it can't cope. I mean, the best looking game on the Wii so far? Twilight Princess - a launch title developed for the Gamecube. Resi4 also looks awesome, another Gamecube title.
There is no reason we can't get more atmospheric or "realistic" games. Sure, they won't look as good as - say - PS3 or 360, but they shouldn't all look worse than the previous generation...
On that note - I hope The Conduit gets published, is awesome enough to spark copycats at other publishers, and the graphics engine is adopted as a standard for Wii development. It won't happen, but we can hope.

Somebody came up with a eating game as a serious idea? I know it's a cliche, but WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY SMOKING?*faints* I know it's a pretty, er . . . "unique" idea but at least it's not wasting plastic and other stuff by coming out at retail rather than download. Unfortunatly the game sounds a bit off of actual MLE. I mean when has burping and farting (which can be done in game) ever been an offense tactic in the actual sport? (If MLE is a sport). Another WiiWare game from High Voltage Software is coming! It's called Animales de la Muerte, here's a short transcript about the game from IGN's preview article.NOTE: IGN says 1-4 player co-op but the game description says 1-2 players. I would assume it is 1-2. "It all starts "down in Mexico," where the Valle De La Sol Public Zoo, run by the charismatic geezer Don Eduardo Mendoza, has found itself in crisis mode. The animals -- elephants, monkeys, warthogs, and walruses, to name a few -- have begun dying only to be reborn as flesh-eating zombies. High Voltage elaborates, "Now, wandering freely through the zoo, the rotting beasts are no longer content with eating visitor scraps they get tossed into their cages -- instead they prefer to eat the whole visitor. You take on the role of characters Marco and Maria Mendoza, Don Eduardo's weapon-proficient grandchildren, and bring the fight back to the animals -- the zombified ones, anyway. While the two will use a variety of powerful guns and items to mutilate the walking dead, they will also carry with them nets in order to capture and save the animals still unaffected by the outbreak." Trailer.

Trailer. When I saw this game announced I busted a gut I was so overjoyed. I love the Evil Dead trio of films and the Peter Jackson zombie flick Brain Dead (Dead Alive), so I am sooo stoked for this game. Instant purchase for me. btw, this isn't a WiiWare title, but did any of you see that living mushrooms game? Where three races of mushrooms duke it out on Earth? It sounded kind of sick, actually. EDIT: Here it is... Mushroom Men! wii.ign.com/objects/884/884634.html

Not too weird actually. Living mushrooms seem to be a great populace in Mario games.
