Oh wow, does that game look awful. Bland levels, vast nothingness, terrible characters animations and almost no personality in them.

EC that art looks nice and music is good too but the gameplay does not look that great and the second character flying nearly always on screen seems kind of annoying. Hopefully co-op mode makes it better. Early reviews say that Final Fantasy is looking good, with a lot of content for just 200 blocks of memory. Silconera is saying FF takes up 287 blocks and even larger is the WIiWare game Saku Saku Animal Panic that takes up 301 blocks.

Hopefully co-op mode makes it better. I'd disagree on the art. It's just nothing interesting. The big eyed dopy characters. Nothing too special or too interesting about it. Music is pretty good, but it looks like this game is a 2/5 or 1/5.

I looked at the video again and art is not too good. It really does have some quality of a flash game but maybe that because the camera is so close to the character(s) so more imperfections can be seen, unlike in a 2-D Mario game.
It's annoying to see the floating characters arms move on such a pivot (beacuse of the pointer) and the main character legs splitting out when he falls.
What makes me wonder is what the game's motion controls and also the character will fight as well. I heard somewhere he uses a hammer.

The FF game has downloadable races and stuff, basically between 100 and 300 points. But it's a freakin' FF game, so what do you expect? People will pay it.
I'm curious what ones we get over here in the States for launch.

I have to say I'm probably getting Dr. Mario. I was never good at the Puyo Puyo stuff, but I always had fun trying. I'm not generally good at multiplayer games anyways.
Also, this Dr. Mario has the QueQue music from 64. <3

According to this post at NeoGAF, it looks like Hudson is actually working on a WiiWare remake of the TG16 game Alien Crush. Nothing wrong with more Crush pinball! Here is the original Japanese news article. EDIT: VC Reviews picked up on it. They report that Alien Crush is actually a sequel, not a remake. They speculate that it's a response to the apparently good sales of the original version on the VC.

I've just realised: these games are cheaper to make, making them a low risk to developers, meaning that its more likely they green-light some of those sequels we've been begging for!
What do you reckon, will we see a Wiiware Pokemon Snap, or even Beyond Good and Evil sequel?

Well, some new has come in saying that EC may go to the PS3 and Stean as well as WiiWare. It has also just been announced that there is a level editor in the game as well. "Well the level editor is basically going to allow players the same functions that I have had to create the levels, so they can do anything; spawn enemies everywhere, platforms etc... or even write curse words. And then I'll create a website where people can upload their levels and people can vote for which ones they prefer. They will probably do better levels than me." - Luc Bernard. Source. Also there has been a massive media blowout from the Nintendo Media Summit last week. So there are tons of aritcles on Wii, DS and WiiWare games. Hands on with six WiiWare titles.(FFCC, Lost Winds, Major League Eating, Pop, SBCG4AP and WoG).
