Yup - 2 times.
I'm going to go back to it though, cos I want to play the entire Zelda series through from beginning to end (like I just did with the Mario Bros. series)!
It's an awesome game.

A few times. I have been, since TWW was released, going through MQ about one dungeon every few months. Not that it's too hard, but fails to keep my interest.

Yeah I have... several times, and made sure to collect everything and do everything in it (including the Hylian Loach... that was an all-nighter) I'm still working on Master Quest. So far it doesn't seem much harder, but that may be because my brain seems to be getting good at working out Zelda dungeons now. I still can't get over the cows in Jabu Jabu! That was the funniest moment I've seen in a videogame in a long time (note: this was BEFORE I played Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, which tops it a million times over for funny).

I guess now's as good a time as any...
I have a problem with defeating games I really like. I just don't want them to end. OoT for instance, I have every peice of heart, all the upgrades, every item, double defense, and all four bottles. I just can't bring myself to finish Ganon's tower!
Heh. I just realized I'm doing the same thing with Wind Waker.

Yeah I have that too with The Wind Waker But it's not really that I don't want the game to end, it's just... Hm, now I think of it, I don't really know why I stopped playing the game... Weird.

I find I tend to stop playing games for long periods of time either when I'm completely stuck (usually due to a hard bit, as puzzles tend to be quickly solved by GameFAQs if they're really that troubling), or immediately after a boss where I turn it off and have a break -- that then lasts months.
The problem then is going back to the game and familiarising yourself with the controls again. Especially if you play a lot of similar games (or, worse, a sequel) before picking it up again.
I've lost count of how many times I've tried looking for the flash of the hookshot in OoT or OoTMQ to show I can grab onto something (a Wind Waker first).

I remeber leaving after the fifty level dungeon heart peice quest. Then, I had no trouble going throught the five or so darknuts at a time. I started up again, barely scraped through two at a time. yeesh.

I've beaten it about 3 times. When I first played, it, it took me a year (long story, I'll explain below), and when I finished it, I felt happy.
I had gotten OoT/MQ from Blockbuster after I reserved Windwaker. I didn't lay a finger on Windwaker until my promise of playing and beating Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask beforehand (Another long story). I started Ocarina as I got home, I was happy, as it was my first time playing a Zelda game since I was about 5 or 6 (I SEVERELY missed out on the series after Zelda II). I got stuck in Dodongo's Cavern (Pitiful, eh?), that, and The Sims for Gamecube had just been released. I played The Sims for awhile, not touching OoT. After I got a few tips from a friend in my old religion class, I was able to get myself out of Dodongo's Cavern. Let's skip ahead ALL the way up to the Water Temple. I got stuck there as well, so I didn't touch it, for, oh.....A few months? A lot of good new games came out and I wanted to play them. Then I finally said "I MUST continue" and restarted at the Water Temple. I finished the Water, Shadow, and Spirit Temples, and finally, beat the game.
Half of my promise had been kept. I then went to a GameStop and purchased a used Majora's Mask N64 cart (Because I didn't have the right games to get the Collector's Disc.) Majora's Mask was fun, I beat it within a couple of weeks. Now I could finally play The Windwaker. I finished it, and I was happy.

Religion class actually led to the salvation of the Gorons then? I bought Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9, and was determined to play them in order. I never completed 7... in fact I only got onto the second disc. Now I'm going to sell them. Might as well... I don't have a working Playstation anymore anyway.

Hahaha, well, I guess you could say that. I'm glad I don't have religion class anymore, I hated the other children there, they just listened to rap and thought I was weird for not liking rap (I can't stand that trash).

Yeah, I don't listen to any music much these days. I get my kick from games. They usually have better music anyway. ;D
